I love all three! But I use light inks for highlights and page decorations. The Majestic Maple Syrup seems similar to Tomo & Lins Kaleidoscope Ibuki which is retired and I really loved the sample I got. I like all three colors really.
I'd definitely need to use a very wet pen and nib (and most likely a steel nib) for the two lighter inks. Their legibility will be almost non existent in any fine nibs I would assume. 😅 definitely beautiful inks to paint with and I'll agree that the majestic maple is a very unique color.
I love the charger sets. I have a few of them in my collection & I'm glad that the full name is on the box and not on the bottle as it would make the bottle bottom too busy.
i've been using majestic maple syrup in a sailor profit jr / compass and ive been loving it! my medium jinhao 82s tend to have a really really wet flow after a couple of days so im looking to try it in that next month too ^^ i hadnt thought about this collection as being christmassy before but i definitely see it now! i think because im not drawn to reds, i was only really looking at the sage and syrup and thinking about leaves. youve given me ideas for december colour palettes!
Love the red! I recently got one of those small FWP samples and had no idea of the colour …. so thank you for mentioning the initials 😀 I am now guessing the lovely blue ( SMN) is Stroke of Midnight . 👍
Love all of these inks so much I have bottles! The one draw ba co to them as well as other summer inks is that the transfer of shimmer from page to page is insane and drives me crazy 😅 is there a product or something to prevent the transfer? I know there is a spray you can use for chalk to make it not lift off paper....is there something like this for fountain pen inks?
Wow! All three of those colors are for! 😍😊
Right?! They are very good holiday colours!
Ooo the red one would be a very pretty Xmas red!! Thanks for sharing! Love your swatch video!!
I think so too! Thanks for watching!
All 3 are gorgeous. I bet maple would look lovely in a larger nib size, a medium or so.
Need to try it next month in a wetter nib for sure!
I tried to like Majestic Maple Syrup but I think it needs a larger wetter nib. With my current pen it just was a little inconsistent.

I like all three inks. I might have to order again! Thanks for a great video.
You should! 😅 Charger sets are great!

Thanks for the tip, Lao!
Looking at it here, majestic maple syrup reminds me of oyster hour with shimmer.
Yes! I see that now!
The maple syrup looks more like a champagne color. Very pretty but not dark enough for me. The cranberry red needs to be in my collection.
The cabernet is gorgeous!

The charger sets are like samples - great way to try a few!
That Majestic Maple Syrup is totally on my wish list. I think it's gorgeous!! A perfectly light neutral with lots of shimmer.
It really is! I think I need to use it in a broader wetter nib!
Right? I also think that you can totally tell with the Kakimori nib whether an ink is wet or dry.
Cabernet on the lake !!!
Yes - so pretty!

Good to know - I'll need to try these in wetter nibs for sure!

Glad this was helpful!

I have wondered this myself!! So pretty to use and look at but then you go back it’s all over the place!!
@Chickens_and_Pens for some reason I'm thinking hair spray would work but I have no idea how or why that idea popped into my head 🤔
I don't know how to prevent the transfer, unfortunately. I kind of see it as an occupational hazard with any shimmer inks. 😅
Love your nail polish! What color/brand is it please?
Not actually sure - it is a chrome finish on a darker green done by my nail salon!
That’s all fabulous………but let’s talk your nail color ❤
Haha thank you - a dark green with a chrome finish! My nail salon is awesome!
