Bob Marshall here; we have all seen them but have we ever seen someone try to write music with them? Watch as I clunk my way through a few notes and put my Degree in Music to a test. Just an example of this machine and the awesomeness it can do.
MACHINE IS NOT FOR SALE but thanks for wondering.

    1955-1965 by my reckoning.

At best, I suspect this would probably have been used to try to convert the composer's chicken scratch into something legible for the printer to use to do the layout. Regardless, this sure seems a tedious process.

Hey, you ever figure out the secondary ribbon spool on this???

I did. I remember this customer was not interested in using it but I've done 10 of them since. The clutching and guides usually gets mangelled up and needs reforming.

@@typewritermuse i just came in to ownership of one of these. I collect and refurbish typewriters. Sometimes sell, not much anymore. Can you give me an explanation of what kind of ribbon should go in there, and for why and what purpose it might be used? I really dont understand why theres a second one. Different color??? I dunno. Thanks for any information you can provide

    Hello,
I wanted to know where you got that machine from.
Did you make it yourself? Did you buy it online? If yes then can you provide me with a link for it?
    Thanks!

It is a rare made machine that has not been made in 50 years. Sometimes you can find them used on sales fits or ebay. Good luck in your search for one.

@@typewritermuse Thank you, it seems like it will be difficult 😅😅😅

It is but from time-to-time, they will pop up. Other makes like Olympia and Smith Corona are a little easier to find. I do believe: The easiest thing to do in this life is buy something, as long as you have the pateince to wait for it. Enjoy your road in this.
