What a beautiful fort in the heart of Cholistan. They are the historical gems of Punjab, Rajasthan, and Pakistan. Why we are not taking action to preserve and conserve them?

Please watch episode "Another Treasure Lost" on this channel. Not only are NOT taking steps to preserve our built heritage, we are letting vandals destroy what we have.

A very interesting tale, fit to be made into a movie. I had always thought that Bhatti Rajputs belonged to northern parts of India only. Never knew they inhabited lands as far as Rajhastan.
Interestingly, Allah Wasaya sports the kind of moustache that I had always associated with Gujjars of the mountainous regions only.

History of bijnot fort : In 820 AD, Prince Vijayrao Chudala built the fort of Bijanot, Iran.
Conquered twenty-two parganas from Khorasan and defeated the Varahas in repeated battles. The Arab rulers of Multan and Sindh were still under the sovereignty of the Arab khalifa, they were facing many difficulties in strengthening their position over these states. In the same period, in 841 AD, the Panwars of Bathinda treacherously killed Bhati Rao Vijayrao Chudala. The Panwars also snatched the forts of Maroth and Moomanvahan from the Bhatis along with other forts. This fort remained under the control of Panwars for the next ten-eleven years. A very interesting story, sir ji.
It reminds me of 1988 Bollywood movie Qayamat se Qayamat tak, in which Thakur Dhanraj Singh murders Karan Singh to avenge the dishonor and subsequent death of her sister Madhumati.
Thakur Dhanraj Singh then spends twenty years in prison. A very honorable Rajput was he!
