When you're dropping forward castle and you have "Dauts" send more villagers 😂
Redemption monk push... Go in and convert all your enemies buildings...
Dies to standard archer play?
@@Kawabongahlive not if you do it right: czcams.com/video/Qe731LeUZoU/video.htmlsi=MG9RTeeI767IuUsQ
Monks: We are gonna infiltrate their infrastructures and destroy our enemy from within!!!
Defensive castle: Not on my watch.
Monks: Oh....
That was my first thought when he mentioned more than 2 strategies. Especially effective with Bengalis and Aztecs who have tanky monks.
And now how to defend each one of those🤔
You just lose
Seige workshop into gg works pretty well.
Well I think you usually don't lose immediately, some right choices can save you...
Defensive castle
Defensive castle. Monk. Siege workshop. And slowly build up army back up
Hera always has the video tutorial ready which I dont know i want but always need.
Siege tower + eagle warrior rush strats work really well on arena
🤡
@Hera Awesome!!!! Thank you! :)
Wauw never thought about the 'mangonel attack-ground trick'. I always learn something new with you Hera! 🍍
Very useful, thank you.
Nice, came out just in time for my weekly Thursday night gaming session with friends :D Think I'll try the infantry push, I've never made them work before but I guess it's because I am too careful with them or chase vills etc rather than going straight for the TC
It worked :D My friend and I both went Vikings and non stop pushed with Berserkers
thanks for nice video and tips 😎 didn't know about atack-ground between two buildings trick.... Another of many reasons you are at winning rampage in S-tier tournaments while I am stuck at 1100 elo 😂🎉
great video Hera
Hey Hera. Long time watcher and big fan, first time saying hi! Great work with all your videos, love all the content. Hey, how can we get in touch with you to request a 1v2 or 1v3?
Would you say that this video applies to players that are very good at walling up their base behind destroyed buildings?
Idea for video. "get the GG in feudal while your opponent was in castle or going up to castle"
Also would have been cool if you also mentioned the best defense against all of these pushes, im kinda struggling and getting nervous and doing some wrong things when i see a forward castle or tc rush :S
Well positioned monks counter like 90% of these strategies, especially if they have redemption researched. A well placed castle counters 100% of these pushes and only costs 650 resources (as many as 6 knights).
thank you
I favor the Ram if I get the workshop up before the opponent is Castle Age. Rams open the base and take out production, which is usually at the front and I can take the TC later bc without military buildigns what is the opponent gonna do.
I can que the Mangonel after the opponent reaches Castle Age and will still be ahead in Mangonels.
If you are able to get a siege workshop and queue rams and mangonels before your opponent is even in castle age, you are so far ahead that you basically won the game already.
You spelled queue wrong
Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face 😂
So true for AoE2
My favorite is the Saracen's archer bonus because opponent always gets mad
Isually I make siege push with one or two mangoneau + 1 ram + 1 scorpion + 2 or 3 pikes. Only with this you can be very annoying and make your opponent over react. Then you get imperial age before him and finish him. This is in theory 😅 but it works very well.
1300 elo.
Any tips for a beginner on how to play defensive “fast” castle?
Yes. Don't.
@@13buthead :’) ok
I need to have eco behind my siege pushes because trading two of my mangonels for one enemy mango while on offense is a good day for my siege micro.
I find it really hard to do any of these and have a steady economy. Like when I do a siege push I end up building a siege workshop and monastery and have no Vila on gold for mangonel 😂😂😂😂😂. I’m also kinda scared to play ranked for the sake of points. 😢😢
Hopefully this helps me in my games. Keep up the content :)
All on gold, market abuse. Thank me later!
Best way to think of this, is that you're going to lose 50% of your ranked games.
@@Nomatterwhat69 lol😂
Do not be scared of ranked games. Most of time they are well balanced. Most people even out to 50/50 win loss ratio
@@silicondave2797 thanks I’m gonna go play a ranked game now :/ I will say if I win :))🏆
*Saracen Crossbowmen Noises*
It's not really a strat that specifically targets enemy buildings but if you get redemption monks and don't have anyunits to convert, a few monks can really eat through you opponent's buildings
That can come in handy, but you'll still need support from mangonels or the like if you want to push enemy town centers.
👍🏻
I genuinely searched for this last night 😂
Hoang siege push is the best
Shotels for the win
My favourite way to destroy a base is to depopulate it. Can't make units from all those productions buildings if my cavalry archers/elephant archers have used all the villagers for target practice ;D
Im at 1000 elo now, so I need to work on castle age pressure on my opp.. Thank you
and redemption monkas????
i'm a man of culture, i do it in feudal with cumans
Petards! xD
I’m really good at this I’ve found. Someone castle drops me I IMMEDIATELY make rams. Steam roll that castle down asap.
I find as Celts i win in castle age so often
Rams and knights, maybe a couple mangonels.
#3 is main reason why i quit aoe
Forward castle is the anti fun strategy, so lame
