Great bike, great review, great delivery. Top job sir. I purchased the Speedmaster last September which was my first cruiser. Absolutely loving it. Almost too small, (I’m 6 feet tall, 76kg) but actually just about right.
My buddy was going to get the those pipes you have but reading the comments on the forums that people regretted it due to the noise level. He went instead with the upgraded pipes from Indian that look like the stock pipes but are shorter and come with a upgraded air box and tune from Indian. And knowing what the stock pipes sounded like yes it’s a little more grunting but not too load at all and there’s definitely a pro for ace upgrade. Cheers
Fantastic lve been following all three of your videos on the Scout, as lve just bought one last August 2022 and like you lm loving every minute, lm 69 and traded in my Victory cross roads on the Scout as the Victory was getting a bit heavy pushing in and out the garage, l must say it's the best move lve made in a long time, roll on the Summer, stay cool buddy and keep posting, all the best Deadhead Dave
Thanks Deadhead Dave. Yes, this bike strikes a great balance between size, comfort and performance. I'm still loving mine and very much looking forward to summer-time!
Just found your channel and binge-watched all your Indian Scout vids. Great content and love the style and delivery. As a Brit who’s lived in NZ for the last 20 years, I also enjoyed seeing some of the UK countryside on your road trips. Look forward to where you might go next. Indian Chief maybe?
Glad you're (still) happy with the bike! Just picked up a Yamaha TDM 900 meself, a 2002 with 7400 miles on the clock. :) Keep the rubber side down and the videos coming! Cheers!
I just bought one so far I love it what's nice about it compact not so heavy I 2023 scout ABS icon Riot Orange/Black You are right the accessories are expensive. But I do love the bike
Lovely bike- keep tinkering with the idea of getting one of these. Think I need a test ride. PS- I had a Shoei Glamster. Used about 3 times and got rid- was so noisy. Went back to Arai and got the Rapide.
Like your articulate style, good video as always. I tried an Indian Scout and a Victory Octane on a dealer demo day in the US back in 2016, and both felt a bit weird, something about the throttle response. Is that something you noticed? Could have been because I rode a bike with carbs back then.
Thanks Tim. I think the Ride By Wire throttle is a bit soft, but I'm very used to it on other bikes. I imagine if you came straight from a wired throttle and carbs, you'd feel the delay. It's not ideal, but It just takes a bit of getting used to.
Great review man....I'm interested in getting a scout and your positive happy go lucky nature is also selling it to me. 😃 Will be test riding one soon!! Can't wait ....take care 👍😁
Do yourself a favor and just test ride a touring bike. It’s a little intimidating at first, but you get used to it very quickly, 50-100 miles quick. I currently ride a challenger after moving up to baggers from midsize and other bikes.
I really hate chrome, personally. I don't mind it on other people's bikes but I'm more into matte than shiny. So, I'm looking into the Indian Rouge for my next bike.
I saw a MASSIVE pothole at the railroad track turn around. . . OMG! Had to give it a mention. Great video!
I wish people would describe the different feel between riding a sport bike and a cruiser. That would give us non-cruiser Riders a better reference.
What a totally open and honest review, thank you.
Cheers Mark. Thanks for watching.
Great review man, thanks!

Thanks David. Lovely bike that Speedmaster! 6ft tall is probably about perfect for the SM.

I might try and pick up some baffles for my pipes. I think they sell them separately. Those shorty pipes look great.

Love the Chief, you never know. Thanks for watching 👍

Congrats on the new bike. Look great for a bit of sport touring!
@@WildlifeMoto It's a Swiss army bike. Good at everything, not the greatest at anything 🙂
It's a very beautiful bike!

It’s a shame it’s so noisy as I love how light it is. It’s almost unbearable without earplugs. Do a test ride for sure!
Harley Fat bob bloody loud hear nothing on that bike & I can't even hear Interceptor at Intersections & I got S&S slip on's with baffles out.

I’m happy for you & saddened to not see the RE being given love😭
Stay tuned :)
Amazing video as always, any more interceptor content coming next?
Thanks Michael. Yes, got some more videos planned very soon. Cheers.

Thanks. Enjoy your test ride!
Thinking of getting a scout, had a Harley Sportster before. Interested in your upgrades. What screen have you got ? Great vid by the way 👍
Hi Andrew. I got it from Dart. I made a video on how to fit in and the different screens they sell.
Great vid . Any more content on the BSA 650 ?
I will do an update soon. Cheers.
How many real world miles do you get from a full tank? I want to get the bobber version
Probably around 90’ish. I’ve not measured it properly.
Where'd you get your sheepskin seat cover? :) Pretty!
The company is called happy frog on Amazon. amzn.eu/d/jadoGB4
What do you think on the rear suspension on the Scout? Is it comfortable?
It’s ok, not exactly plush but gets the job done. If you are riding two up, I’d Recommend getting something like the KTech Razor Lites.
What brand is your suspension? Can I get a link?thanks for review.
Hi. I’m running K-Tec Razor Lite shocks. www.brooksuspension.co.uk/indian-scout-k-tech-razor-lite-twin-shock-absorbers-14-23?gclid=Cj0KCQjwy9-kBhCHARIsAHpBjHjPRhb2gb1yRyoMGuK8hgUNhULuilEZO0KjuvnoPF6I4Xda3AhH6JcaArRJEALw_wcB

How many miles on it?
About 5k
Be warned ; touring bikes are unsuspecting nimble. Only at parking lot speeds do they feel heavy and you get used to that very quick
True that. Maybe I’ll take a big bike out for a test ride.
I really hate chrome, personally. I don't mind it on other people's bikes but I'm more into matte than shiny. So, I'm looking into the Indian Rouge for my next bike.
Nice one. Thankfully the Scout has fairly minimal chrome, especially if you throw on some black pipes.
