New to Miami In 1977: The Vita Course!

WTVJ-4's Ike Seamans cruised over to Kennedy Park in Coconut Grove to take a look at the park's new "exercise course," a one-mile running/jogging/walking course with exercise stations placed at intervals along the route.
Based on Swiss models, the exercise courses were a boon to workout fans and cities alike, offering fitness buffs a variety of exercises and cities low construction costs, as detailed by Miami Parks and Recreation assistant director Bob Heggy in a brief interview.
