  • This 1973 destination film from Eastern Air Lines shows the tourist attractions and scenic wonders of Miami Beach. Things there look quite a bit different now, with more hotels and more traffic.
This film (EAF0052) is in the Lynn and Louis Wolfson II Florida Moving Image Archives' collection of Eastern Air Lines travelogues and tourism films. The Wolfson Archives does not own the rights to the music. Visit www.wolfsonarchives.org to search the collection.

I lived in South Florida in the 60's and 70's. It was nice, relatively safe and hadn't become overpopulated. I enjoyed watching and brought back some good memories from the past. Had I known what it would become in the future, I probably would have appreciated that time period a lot more! Thanks for posting!

Hello. In 2010 a documentary called Stonewall Uprising used a sequence of video from a tv program called simply "The Homosexual" which was hosted by Ralph Renick and aired on WTVJ in 1966. I do not see any part of it here on your channel, but I believe I have located the entire recording on your website at the Wolfson Archive under catalogue ID: TVO0252. There seem to be several sections of missing audio though. Is there any chance of your uploading it here in whole? I believe it to be a very unique record of American culture at a particularly important turning point in history.
