I second what Piccolo said. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. I never how good we had it in 1986. The clothes, the music, the movies, the malls....EVERYTHING was better. God I wish I had a time machine. Life in 1986 Coconut Grove must have been freakin' incredible. Thanks again!

Yeah, I remember when Mayfair was the place to be. And all the drug-front stores all over the Grove.
In1986 I lived in Coconut Grove on the corner of Aviation Ave. and S. Bayshore Dr. across from Monty Trainers. I used to walk to the Mayfair Mall! My dad used to work at the Burdines, when it closed, he had to transfer to Dadeland Mall. Priceless video!

The hotel next-door to the mall is the Mayfair house they just renovated and it’s back to the 1980s glory look it up on Instagram. The place is amazing.

I remember being ten years old and they had a Gucci and Versace at the Mayfair shops. Crap I feel old. Then in the early 1990s I was there when burdines closed and I went to the planet Hollywood.
