in the US secret rings bling bags, both versions of Fizzleshake were included in the series. I own the green Fizzleshake! Green magic mimics was not in the set though.

I wanted to tell you that I too have a particular pony that looks like a prototype but I'm not sure, it's a Lily Valley from wave 17 the one with glitter but instead of having the head turned to the left is facing front and is a little taller than a normal figure.Thx

Oh my God, I think I have that sad I somehow got Apple Bloom it’s outside the box and I didn’t realise at the time I was really young so it’s out of the box but I remember playing with a tiny orange pink haired Pegasus with my sweetie belle set i’ve gotta find it

My Princess Celestia from my midnight in canterlot set had one hoof (the raised one) that was plain white and three yellow ones. I always assumed it was a mistake in all of the sets sold but it doesn’t seem the case. I coloured it in with a yellow marker since I didn’t like how it looked😂

Thanks for another awesome vid! The Crystal Princess Palace Bonus Pack blew my mind, lol. I would love to see videos of both the yellow filly and Minty A. I remember that Bins Toy Bin got a Minty A from an MLP haul years back in an old video. And I’m wondering if the yellow filly is one of the prototype flower fillies that were shown at Toy Fair with the wedding line.

I've seen the weird Equestria girls dolls in a reel on Instagram, there was a collector comparing her with the released eqg dolls- specifically a rainbow dash. So they definitely were released in some form, or the collector somehow got ahold of the unreleased doll

i swear to god i own a blossomforth with bangs, i remember because when i got her i disliked the bangs, thinking they didn't suit her but now i'm not sure if she has them or not, i might just be remembering the packaging and i can't check because i am away from home for college grr i will edit this if i find her next time i visit home

Idk I just miss being younger sometimes. like I had a princess skystar toy, which I was very happy to have because a relative from the USA bought it for me and there wasn't a lot of mlp toys in the Philippines or at least at my local stores

I had the set with the prototype celestial in it when I was younger, I gave away all my mlp toys away but I remember I did have that little set which was broken later on. Seeing the past makes it feel nostalgic and I didn’t noticed that the set I got in 2016 or around a after year had that prototype, I always thought it didn’t have that glitter on the hair and horns since mine didn’t have that

YOOO! I had the glitter applejack too, I remember her and rarity being my favourites! I got them from an op shop, probably salvos or Red Cross, unpackaged and bundled together in a plastic bag! I can’t remember there being a full set so I think the shop owners just put them in different goodie bags like they still do. Really wild to have that childhood memory reignited, thank you!!

I had the cupcake cart when I was 6 years old, I remember it was just the cart and not heavenly I didn't know it was there.
the fun at the fair set was infact released but i think Scootaloo was supposed to come with it originally but thay changed it to Applebloom
Also, not sure if this counts as lost toys but all the characters from the LoE dolls line were supposed to be The Shadowbolts and we have concept art despite not being produced

8:51 I m guessing it was the prototype version of Indigo Zap, before the final released doll. or it was originally just a test doll before Indigo Zap was trademarked
The movie itself was originally supposed to feature Lightning Dust's human counterpart instead of Indigo Zap. Guessing the doll prototype was made before the script was changed.
I didn't realize the later toys lost the bangs! I think I mostly collected wave 1 and there were lots of guides on how to "style" the hair to make it show accurate.
Also always a little sad that after the first few waves Hsabro gave up making non-show ponies. I mean I do like the show characters of course but there was a certain charm to the non-show ponies like Cupcake, Snowdrop ect.
Let’s admit it, the toy ponies are way better 😭❤️

The very Tropical Pinkie couldve been a prototype of a background/ reimagined pony of the past (like the tropical pony you shown) as part of a big gift set kinda like how Minty was released?? That's what I thought of instantly but what would they do for that gift sets theme?? a tropical island like Butterfly Island in g3??? Also to look more into the Tropical ponies both Pina Colada and Hula Hula (the one you shown) fit the color scheme.
YOOO, I THINK I HAD THE PROTOTYPE CELESTIA, i currently still have it actually. Younger me would have been in love with the other version though. Like, i'm kinda weirded out by it, because i had always seen it in store, and I really wanted it when i was younger, and i was mad coz mine didn't have glitter on it's horn, but now i'm seeing this... AND i got it brand new, and never had the crystal princess palace (though i would have KILLED to have it), though i did have the original 2013 release, which i got when it was on sale a couple years later. But i did have that tea set that went with it, but i got it with the cadence's castle thing, which was YEARSSSS later, like, celestia was one of the first one's that i got, back when i was quite a bit younger, probably like 2 or 3 (i was very advanced when it came to that sort of stuff, like talking, and fine motor skills) and i have that hedgehog in that wagon, though i got it separately
It sounds like you may have the 2013 Crystal Empire 2-pack Celestia! That Celestia was released in stores! I’d love to have a look at it if you still have it though to verify! 😄

Hell, I don't speak English so it's hard for me to understand what the video says (but automatic subtitles on CZcams help me) but I understand the green version of Magic mimic is rarer. And I have it! All the time I didn’t understand why for many it is yellow with gray eyes, but for me it is green with green eyes. If you need I can submit a photo to you on Instagram

In half of the collections of other people that I saw, it was green or people had both versions, and I myself have green. As for Magic Mimics, the green version definitely exists, I saw photos, albeit in poor quality. If necessary, I can provide a link to the album in the Russian social network VKontakte, where people share photos of their collections, maybe there is something else interesting there.
Hi there! No worries at all! I did confirm after the video was published that both versions exist. At the time there weren't many photos available online of these so I wasn't sure what to think of them. As originally stated in the video, I figured it was likely a variant situation like the wave 1 blind bag twilight sparkle. This is why I put a question mark next to prototype because I couldn't confirm one way or another at the time. :)
There was a CZcamsr with the the wilight one of the equestria girls dolls talked about in this and the last video idk what their channel name was but they got it as a promotion I believe and I always thought it was odd that I never saw the doll enywhere else I also think they were Canadian. Also my bff still has the tea party stuff from the celestia bonus pack hope this helps
