1913 Mason and Hamlin Welte Mignon - You Can't Pull The Wool Over My Eyes

- Here's a recent acquisition that popped up locally that I couldn't say no to - a 1913 Mason and Hamlin Welte. The piano is in amazing shape. The piano appears to have been restrung and repinned with some action work. The Welte may have been done at one point in time but isn't functioning now. It is also missing one of the large belts between the fly wheels.
Anyways, enjoy this wonderful piano.

And of course, your playing is as stunningly beautiful as always! I'm still waiting for a bit more growing to reach D and A major tenths but hopefully once I get there it'll be reasonably easy to flat tenths in general!
Thank you! This has been the year of pianos, but I am done for the year unless a 9ft Knabe Ampico shows up somehow.
Even I can't always get the tenths depending on the key, but a lot of the times, I can usually stagger it slightly and bring out the upper and it usually fits nicely into the tune 🤓
@@Yalie06405 Man, a 9 foot Knabe would be something, I know a guy who has one that isn't an Ampico but has the LX player in it!
And yeah I think you mentioned that flat major tenths are too wide for you to reach but you can definitely hammer away on everything else ;)
Oooohhhhh, 1913 !.... So this is a german T100 scale for red rolls, and not a Welte Licensee ?

No, actually a much different set up. There are four large bellows underneath the key bed concealed in a large chamber that all connect to a medium sized fly wheel that is connected to a larger fly wheel that is then connected to the electric motor.
