I’m a Child Passenger Safety Technician and you don’t need to add anything extra to the car seat unless it is purchased from the car seat manufacturer. If you want extra head support, just roll a receiving blanket and put it around the baby’s head.

Definitely agree with you on the diaper genie! Had one for my first and used it for maybe 6 months. Just way easier to throw all the diapers out into the outside garbage can at the end of the day. I found that thing so useless lol. Got rid of it after I had my second baby!

There are literally zero baby stores where I live. Just a small baby section at Walmart. I’m going to have to do almost everything online 😒 any advice for first-time moms like me that have to sift through the overwhelming options online?
OH GOSH I missed this! I'm so sorry. Go with somewhere that has the most things you will need so that you can make a big order that will qualify for free shipping! A babies R us, Walmart type store works. Also amazon, dont count them out. They have some great stuff for babies and I think they have an online baby registy too!
