I had my baby 9/17/23! She was a few weeks early due to rising blood pressure. She’s now 9 months old. She has done fantastic from the moment she was born. It was definitely worth all the wait to have such a great baby!

Don’t get the yo-yo stroller get the Leclerc - don’t get the nuna leaf, get the baby bjorn- don’t get the brown bottles get the nano Bebe bottles or avent - next has amazing cotton onesies - don’t get the normal body suit get the wrap one so you wouldn’t hurt the baby’s head which i did and cried my eyes out and threw all of them out and settled with the wrap ones - don’t get the muslin swaddles get the ones with the Velcro chkchk thing 🤣

I’ll be 75 in a month and no, not planning on having any more babies. But I’m watching anyway. Amazingly, I actually survived without any of this stuff when mine were little☺️ I just can’t believe how things have changed in the baby world! I didn’t even have paper diapers, actually made my own cloth diapers. Changing time could be a bit of a mess (no wet wipes), not to mention the clean-up of diapers afterwords but, as I said, I survived. Shocking Edit: I didn’t even have a car seat for my newborns, it wasn’t required!

Just got married a month ago! We made a plan to wait 1.5-2 years and then re-evaluate. I'm watching because it's never too early to start learning, especially knowing that we don't have perfect control over everything that happens, even with a great plan in place.

I have one child who’s 19 and have no plans on having anymore, I just love you and love watching your videos.
Also, I just want to put out there that MOST of the items mentioned are not necessary. New parents, please don’t think you have to run out and buy the latest snd greatest anything. When my son was born, we used blankets to swaddle and they worked just fine. We used the Fischer-Price swing and it worked just fine. We didn’t have bottle warmers and wipe warmers and it was fine. If it’s something you want, great, but please don’t feel like you HAVE to have these things. Many children were born and raised just fine without a snu (not sure of spelling?)
I’m 4 weeks pregnant with my first child, my fiancé and I are getting married in September so we wanted to start trying in case it took us a while to get pregnant and we struck gold on the first try! It’s a little sooner than I anticipated but I guess my baby just really wanted to come now!

I'm a planner but I also feel like these days people buy so many unnecessary things during pregnancy/early parenting life. Thank you for the comment about newborn clothes! I completely agree. I love having a few outfits in newborn size, something that actually FITS baby, especially for doctor appointments or family visiting when you want them to look extra cute:) Even my 9 lb daughter fit in newborn size for a couple weeks at least.
Had my first as a teenager and got through with whatever I was gratuitously given. 16 years later, and after trying for years, I’m 30wks pregnant and feel so lost as what to expect and what I need. Recently married & we plan on trying to get pregnant around springtime. I’m an L&D nurse so I love all things momma/baby including all of these pregnancy videos!!😆
The gas relief was definitely around I was using it with my two kids ten years ago! Works do quickly and well!
