In my opinion, refurbished familiar should take over frogmites spot. Yes, it sucks to pay the one black instead of 0 mana, but the upside just has too much value.
I would play both and cut some draw spells and something else, if you have more threat density you don't need as many draws to get into them, though grixis affinity can be built into many forms, including without frogmites and an higher curver with serpents.
Cutting draw spells is a really interesting idea, it could pivot the archetype into something a bit more aggressive.
I look at that mono u matchup and i cannot imagine how much would a few tooth of chiss goria improve it

2:06:09 The galvanic blast was the misplay of the century. The plan was to force you to chumpblock with the gorilla shaman and I completely brainfarted by thinking too hard and should've blasted the shaman to force the chump with enforcer. GGs but g1 was horrible variance not finding a red source until it was SOOOOOOO many turns late. Disappointing but at least you got 1 win in this video.
Power level sucks. I'll only ever go with concrete restrictions like budget limits because power level is too subjective and unhelpful. I'll take a points list (as in Canadian Highlander) if we want to restrict individual cards.

Sacrifices a 2/2 instead of a treasure/land when the opponent is at 8. Only won the game because topdecked a burn spell when the opponent was 1 life, but if he had kept the 2/2 he would have easily won.
