    Either way people should realize that this world is in a death spiral. Those who cannot see the wickedness of this world are the blind, and it makes me so sad to realize that so many people are going to suffer something unimaginable; something so terrible that all of Heaven will be in total silence for 30 minutes because of the awe of it. To think that no one and no thing throughout ALL of Heaven will utter a single sound for 30 minutes, blows my mind.

    The tribulation period being another name for Daniel’s 70th week. Conjecture. Actually, Jesus talking about the time of great tribulation says, “…If those days aren’t shortened all flesh will be destroyed, but for the sake of the elect, those days will be cut short.” However, we know that Daniel’s 70th week is NOT cut short, in fact, there are three numbers given Revelation and in the 9th chapter of Daniel. It first mentions “1,260 days” which is three and a half years using the Babylonian calendar, then it says, “From the time the sacrifice is abolished (mid-point) there will be 1290 days.” Then it says “Blessed is the one who makes it to the 1,335 day.” If Daniel’s 70th week is cut short by just one day, there would be no “1,335th Day!” So, we have a time of great tribulation starting at the mid-point of Daniel’s 70th week and being cut short for the sake of the elect. A “seven-year” tribulation period. The four words “seven” “year” “tribulation” “period” are not found together anywhere in scripture. And yes, I know the words trinity and rapture are not found in scripture, but the concepts are. Actually the time of great tribulation starts at the mid-point of Daniel’s 70th week when the “anti-christ” desecrates the temple (abomination of desolation) and then starts his persecution of Godly people who refuse his “mark.” Since it starts at the mid-point, it can’t be seven years long. Remember, he doesn’t break the treaty until 3½ years into Daniel’s 70th week. In the Olivet Discourse, Jesus tells his disciples that this terrible time coming (the time of great tribulation) will have “…false messiahs, wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes, famines…and you will be hated by all nations for my namesake and you will be handed over to the authorities and be beaten, tortured, even put to death, but the one who endures to the end will be saved.” Then He gives a startling warning sign: “THEREFORE, when you see the Abomination of Desolation (the mid-point of Daniel’s 79th week) as spoken of by Daniel the prophet…flee!” ALL warning signs, no matter what they are warning about, have one thing in common; they come BEFORE the things they are warning about, so the above warning sign, the Abomination of Desolation, MUST come before the Time of Great Tribulation.

      Hi Mike, like many other people I find the tribulation period to be something that is very difficult to grasp. I have been struggling with it recently, and while I haven't figured everything out yet I think what might be causing some of the confusion in these discussions is the assumption that Jesus gave us a complete account of Daniel's seventieth week in Matthew 24. Instead I think that since his focus was primarily on the Jews, he only details the first three and a half years of that week.
      This, I think, might possibly explain what the "shortening of days" is all about - that Jacob's trouble will not last an entire seven years, but is restricted to about half of that time.
      Some time after the midpoint of the tribulation, when the abomination is set up, the tables will once again be turned. Whereas the pivotal point where the blessings of Abraham crossed over and came to the gentiles, the pivotal point where it switches back again is when the abomination of desolation is set up. The time of the gentiles comes to a close, salvation returns to the people of Israel, and God's wrath is then poured out on the gentile nations.
      This is what I think the book of Revelation is about - it picks up, more or less, where Jesus leaves off.
      Let me know if you are still interested in this and if so we can discuss it further.

      This was from gotquestions on another article.. "Sometime after the rapture of the church, the Antichrist enters a treaty with Israel. This begins the seven-year tribulation. At the midpoint of the tribulation (1,260 days later), the Antichrist breaks the treaty, desecrates the temple, and begins to persecute the Jews. At the end of the tribulation (1,260 days after the desecration of the temple), Jesus Christ returns to earth and defeats the forces of the Antichrist. During the next 30 days (leading up to 1,290 days after the desecration of the temple), Israel is rebuilt and the earth is restored. During the next 45 days (leading up to 1,335 days after the desecration of the temple), the Gentile nations are judged for their treatment of Israel. The dispensation of the millennium begins, and it will last for 1,000 years (Revelation 20:3, 5-6)."

      First 3.5yrs was a good Time, The next 3.5yrs Great Trouble. Tribulation is Satan Attacking God's People. Tribulation is Not The Wrath of God and The Wrath of God is Not The Tribulation. The Wrath of God is Poured Out in Revelation 16, which is The 6th Seal ( Revelation 6:12 )

      We don't know for sure but what we do know is that we are near the tribulation because everything that was to happen has happened. The only thing to watch is what is happening in Israel. We are waiting for the rebuilding of the temple and if you follow the Temple Institute you will discover that everything is ready to rebuild and offer sacrifices for the last temple.

    What do you think about the dome of the Rock being the Abomination that made the city desolate?

    • @purelife9000
      @purelife9000 Před 2 lety +1

      @Nad Jones Is it possible that the Dome of the Rock is standing where (the Temple in Jerusalem) SHOULD BE? The Temple should be there, but the Abomination is currently standing where it ought not be.
      I think the Dome of the Rock is the Abomination, but the Image of the Beast is NOT the same thing. I think it would be plausible for John to perceive the image (statue) speaking simply because it had a speaker in it and that it doesn't need to be some high tech animatronic or space age hologram. I don't know what a metonym is, but I don't see a need to add more to the Word than what it says.
      Your final sentence is pure, hopeful speculation, and goes contrary to Rev. 6:11. Millions of Christians have to date been butchered without protection. We are told that there will be martyrs who must be patient for justice while their brothers and sisters are likewise martyred.
      Thanks for the thought-provoking insight.

  • @renevanhierden1Joh.5-4-5

    Therefore the length of the great trubulation is 42 months, or to be completely correct 1290 days, see Daniël 12:11, and for Gods people 42 months, see Rev.11:2;13:5. The great tribulation is not 84 months, thats not an correct Biblecal statement! Gods blessing, and with kind regards

    You have not shown any proof of a 7 year tribulation period. Daniel 9:27 says that he will "confirm" a covenant for one week (7 years). This is not an indication of a 7 year period of tribulation. Furthermore, you are assuming that the Tribulation is the same as the Wrath of God. This can easily be disproved by contrasting Matthew 24:29 and Joel 2:31. The Matthew passage says that the sun and moon will be darkened "after" the Tribulation, whereas the Joel passage says this event will happen "before" the great and terrible day of the Lord come (End time Wrath of God). Matthew 24 gives us the framework for end time events showing the first 5 seals of the Antichrist's tribulation occurring before the rapture. It is not difficult to see this, whereas the trumpets and vials are all pertaining to the Wrath of God.

  • @SoulSeeker770
    @SoulSeeker770 Před rokem +2

    I disagree. Jesus will come at the last trumpet, which occurs during a period of time where God punishes unbelievers! That period starts with the seventh seal! The tribulation is before that period!

    This person does not know what he is talking about.
    Daniel 9:27 PROVES that Jesus already used the first half of Daniel's final week.
    All that remains of that final week is 3.5 years and that is precisely how long the great tribulation will last.
    This person is dead wrong.
