This is the difference between delivering in a nice neighborhood ... Attitude hits different delivering in a low income area. Let's just say being that happy delivering where I'm from would get me killed... By the customer.
Being happy in the slums I deliver in has saved my ass. Don't take that advice. It's always a better idea to have a positive demeanor. That's fucking rule #1 of customer service.

For me I get around 15-25 deliveries per day, with a $2.25 per delivery mileage payment + tips. I usually leave with 120-180$ depending on the day. Does this sound about the same or how different is it for you?

My advice, if it snows and you have icy roads in that area, have a plan b…2nd job and take a break from delivering, former driver, crashed my car on icy roads in Oklahoma lol Luckily, I was able to save my Honda

I know you posted this 5 months ago, but I recently started working at Dominos as a driver part time 16-20hrs a week as a second job from my full time 9-5 job. You get paid min wage (£9.50/hr) regardless, but you also get delivery fees (£1-£1.50 per delivery). For my Dominos, because it's the only one within like a 5 mile radius, we sometimes have to deliver to far out so for those we get £1.50 per delivery but all local ones it's £1 per delivery. Delivery fees you should only put towards fuel costs, I wouldn't try and take money out of that as profit / money for you to spend. In my area, I do anywhere from 9-14 deliveries in a 4 hour shift. I probably go through about 40-55 miles per day / shift. So if you're doing that like 5 days a week, that could add up to about 250 miles roughly per week and you probably get paid anywhere between £50-£70 for it. In my car, £70 gets me a full tank which is about 400-450 miles but I have to take into account my travel to and from the store (14 miles in total per shift). Your delivery fees usually cover the cost of fuel. So you can look at it thinking you want to do more deliveries because it means more money, but if you don't do many deliveries then obviously you don't get paid much delivery fees but you're also not using much fuel so it works out the same

I didn't get asked any questions. Just how many hours I wanted to work. You get paid 90p without the sign on the roof and £1.10 with the sign.
