Ocado delivery driver here. Yeah we drive the Mercedes and Ford and some places we deliver to I'm sure other delivery drivers agree can be abit of a challenge we have no reverse camera or sensors so its abit harder when u can't see behind u
currently flipping burgers but i am desperate for a delivery job. problem is they're all part time where i live and i don't really fancy going out of town for minimum wage. i want to work my way up to hgv driving, so i want a van driving job for a start.
I wouldn't like to be in a crash with that sack truck to be next to me. If you love driving so much, why not move on to at least HGV Cat C? It's basically a glorified van, but you're legally obligated to follow tachograph rules, so less hours than driving vans. Pay is better as you gain experience as well. I'm sure Asda will offer some kind of scheme to put you into a HGV as well, with a job offer once you gain the license.
Just started working at Tesco, still getting used to the vans after driving around in little cars being put away from commercial vehicles this feels like a HGV to me we're in the Ivecos and Mercedes
@@crazitor1030 the most peaceful thing i. The world 🤣 compared to asda and delivery stuff u dont have to get out every 5 minutes its literally JUST driving from end to end all day and u make so much more im on 17 an hour 😅 its lovely ill try get content one day
@@SAMIUNOFFICIAL FUCKING HELL 17 an hour for driving, you're doing well for yourself, did you need to get a different license for the bus driving or just the normal one? I want to apply for asda delivery driver job but have never driven a van before, and obviously the application says they need someone who can drive one. Do you think I should invest in a van driving course, saw one that’s like 7 hour day for £370 ish, or should I just go for it and hope for the best

This job is in the United Kingdom for a supermarket retailer called Asda the job title is Home Shopping Driver. Which involves delivering groceries to customers doorstep who ordered online via Asda. Hope that helps 😁

What is that beeping every time you come to a full stop?
That is the driving monitor system, it makes sure u drive smoothly. Driving harshly will send reports to the depot
