There is still Proraso Blue, which has aloe and vitamin E. They make it as a pre-shave, a shaving cream (though they still need to make it as a soap), and an aftershave Balm. It smells great and is very moisturizing.

It took my neck a full week for my neck to recover its really scared me to try again but i dont wanna give up because of first time mistakes.

11:16. There is a Proraso alum block. At 3:03 you also asked if you had now used all the different versions of Proraso. As others have indicated, the answer is no. There’s a blue line, which has a preshave, a cream, and a post shave balm (no soap). They make canned foam versions of the red, white, green, and blue lines as well as a yellow line with cocoa butter and shea butter. And then you have their Single Blade line which comes in Wood & Spice, Cypress & Vetiver, and Azur Lime. Those just come in cream form and they each have a pre shave cream and post shave balm. The Single Blade creams originally were sold in large bags for barber use but they are now sold in the same sized tubes (I think 10 oz) as the other creams

Pre shave is super important if you've got sensitive skin. You're supposed to remove the dead skin cells and debris from the surface of your skin which can be done with soap(although drying) or oil .

Wonderful clip. It's always a pleasure to follow you. I have a question for you, namely, is it true that synthetic shaving brushes are better than natural hair ones? In the sense that they lather more. True or false?

What is your favorite shaving soap? Been using Barbasol from the aerosol can forever. But I’d like to try a lathering cream with the brush. But only the best one... what’s your best of all time?

Thanks for allowing me to have a bit of an escape after a few weeks of unpleasantness in the mundane household (involving a family death etc etc yeah, not having a great time of things at the moment). Boy, what would I give for us for a sit down in a Scottish hotel and talk about absolutely nothing in particular over a fine whisky or two and pop outside to chew on a cigar for a while.
    Hell, maybe one day, heh.

Thanks for the video! I wanna upgrade my dad's shaving routine and all I know is that I need something for sensitive skin, found this brand which is great, still having a hard time with the blades and all as he uses gilette 3 blades and I was thinking about buying him the venus 5 blades which I love for myself (a girl) not sure if a man needs a razor that glides smoothly.. I'm not sure, yours seems kinda dangerous tbh as even with the gilette he gets many nicks I think. Any advice is welcome, thanks!

Proraso is the modern day Barbasol for wet shavers.
