- In January 2018, our family of four tackled the '3-Capes' walk, a 4 day, 45 km trek starting and finishing in Port Arthur, Tasmania. It is a fantastic and exhilarating experience. Do some prep-walks with full packs, it pays off. I recommend all the suggested detours, especially Cape Hauy on day 4, they have all been well thought out and are brilliantly executed. Pack light, bring good quality boots, a headlight torch, camera (durr) and a good sleeping bag. You will be warm and dry each night. There are USB charge points in each hut, as well as stove pot coffee makers and plenty of pots and pans. Water is potable quality rain water, but supply is not unlimited! Remember, it's Tassie, so expect rapid weather changes. You 'can' have a shower at Munro's Hut, but please save the water for emergencies and for bush fires. The rangers are fun, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and helpful. Apart from the sheer 300 m drop at Cape Hauy on day 4 (which really gets your Spidey senses tingling!), there are no safety rails. Be safe, be considered, and enjoy this magnificent and visceral experience. Definitely one of the best walks in the world.

A well done vido😂 thankyou for the time you spent..it is now a walk on my list
I can't describe how wonderful this walk is, really worth the time and cost to go. Many of my friends have done it and we all agree it is really world class.
Thank you for taking us on your adventure. Awesome hiking trip. The views are amazing 🤩
Thanks for sharing, give great insite for planning
No probs. Our biggest dilemma was coffee -but they have facilities in each hut (stove top espresso). Remains a standout experience.
Awesome trek
Yes, it really is!
Mum: Is it worth it?
"Free for me, so I don't know!" had me laughing! Thank you for a well-produced video, looking forward to doing it soon.
It's one of the best walks in the world. Pending the ever changing weather, you'll love it! Have fun and don't fall off! Seriously...
Great introduction! What GPS app did you use?
