Fun fact: The guy playing X is the same magician who was voted off America's Got Talent a few years prior... This was his comeback :) .. For those confused about the baby in the video.. When he was last on the series a few years prior as himself he had informed the judges that his baby was dying of cancer (or something like that) ..
The whole ending video of his baby with the word "HOPE" beside it was him showing that his "hope" for his baby's survival paid off..

SO WHAT IF IT WAS?! The crowd forgot everything and was lost in the moment and were happy and enjoying themselves. What is so wrong with that?!

I could be wrong, but for this show specifically I think it's actually against the contests rules that they can't engage the judges in this deep of a way scripted. They can have small details setup but the judges cannot be in on it. This man is just an incredible emotional manipulator (I mean that positively) and he was able through subtle phycological pushes influence what Simon chose, which cap stoned the experience. Now in terms of the two "chosen" volunteers, they were probably in on it

It takes a lot of genius to perform these things and captivate your audience and there are some idiots who disapprove or find faults. I admire these magicians genius of captivating your mind which is like a nuclear reactor and keeping it still for few minutes. That takes a lot of hardwork and dedication.
Honestly, when I'm watching this the whole time. There's only one thing I'm thinking, and it is "HOPE" Just WOW!. We are all connected indeed.

Ironically his magic isnât actually on another level, what actually makes him incredibly good is the fact that he takes what are really quite routine well known magic effects to magicians, but presents them incredibly with power, story and emotion. Thats what sets him apart and makes his performances so awesome.

That was cool. As a magician, image and showmanship are everything and this dude was amazing from the spooky costume to the acting like an automaton.
Most boring act I've ever seen. I love magic but this wasn't impressive whatsoever. Take him out of the act so it's just the voice over and the results would have been the same. He was only there as a prop himself
