Replacing Hydraulic Cylinder on New Holland Disc Mower

Clips of how I worked around the main pin holding the hydraulic cylinder on being stuck. I guess this is a common issue, but not documented anywhere. So here it is.
Grind the rectangle tab off of the pin, remove the snap ring that I show on the back piece, and take the assembly out the back.

How much did the new tube set you back? They’re not a commonly stocked item for Vicons, I’m ready to replace one too. Sick of it

I bought a new cylinder from new holland for 630.
Machine shop quoted me building a new tube and switching everything over at 650

Mike, does your cylinder have a bleeder valve on it?

I wouldn’t call it a bleed valve. There’s a breather plug on the top side. I show it in the other video, “why won’t the mower raise up?”
