      Thank you very much! I was wondering if the upside down router would get some people a little bit upset from a safety perspective, but haven’t heard anything yet 😂. I try and be as safe as possible when in the workshop, but sometimes I do take some slight risks.

      @@o.g.bwoodwork as long as it is secured and you keep your fingers away it'll work. I did it for a while. Not best practice, but it gets the job done :) Honestly a table can be as easy as a hole in piece of plywood and clamp it between two saw horses. But if you use it a lot, making a router table is a fun build.

      @@o.g.bwoodwork « French mustard » recipient is perfect for keeping the glue !! nice reclycling
      no much ideas on any finish tips : i was using "turpentine" (quite classical) in the "oil" mix, but some guys told me to replace it with "BioEthanol E85" because much cheaper in France : i never tried yet ...
      the only problem is to buy a minimal amount of 5 liters (1 galon ?) at the petrol station ... since all the cars do not support it

    • @o.g.bwoodwork
      @o.g.bwoodwork  Před 3 lety +1

      I’ve heard a mix of turpentine, boiled linseed oil and white spirit is a very good. Sadly, it’s very hard to get my hands on real turps these days, as I think restrictions have been tightened.
      I’ll definitely have a look into bioethanol
