Cool project, David. I'm going to look forward to Mondays now! I've used clear box tape in the past and it works great. You can really pull things tight and not worry about it ripping.
Your projects are different and fill a great niche especially at craft shows . I must admit That I have watched your videos to help come up with last minute ideas thanks so much for making these videos and now that I am subscribed looking forward to future ones .
Hi David, You're a good instructor and I really appreciate the great gift ideas you present. My skills are very basic and the small table saw I use is not the most accurate. Once I get it square I don't like to mess with it. Is it practical to cut the miter the full length of the board prior to cutting to size? Thanks, Kevin
You said you used a "combination of boiled linseed oil and polyurethane." Did you mix these together before application, or was it one, then the other?
Hi David, wondered if you would answer a question for me since I am new to woodworking--around the 3:43 mark in your video it appears as though you aligned the wood to your stopblock and then lifted the stopb block before you made the cut--I was just curious as to why--was it for safety reasons and if so could you explain--thank you so much for a GREAT video Tim
Hi Tim. It was so it wouldn't get pinched between the blade and stop block and come flying back at me. I could of also just held it down in place as I made the cut. Thanks!
here's a few tips to consider before you begin your own woodworking business are you likely to have support from your spouse? Are you self-motivated? Will you carry out the plan? Do you have the money to start? (I read these and why they work from Enata Wood System site )

Awesome video keep it up! :)
what bandsaw blade do you use?
Awesome design! how long did it take you to make it?
Reminds me of the one someone made you in the last video. Weekly Woodworking Wrap-up Review #29 (07-24-14) very similar......
wait is that a twist off on the intro being open by a bottle opener?
I think it adds a little 'style', a little 'panache' to the video. :)
So I'm going to participate in my first craft show soon. You mentioned these are good for craft shows. How much do you charge for them?
How much do get for these?
Oh by they way thanks for leaving out music on your vids.
More like Pencil and Smart phone holder. ;)
Yeah that's probably all id use it for
David..just watched the video. How much are you able to sell these for?
Some other woodworker told me if you used white glue you wouldn't have those yellow edges
When you finish jt
What do you usually get for these bad boys at arts and craft shows?
We have not these instruments

Is blue tape green in Canada? Masking tape? Tape should have international standards. ISO tape. Heh.
It is pretty much the same thing, If you buy any painters tape it should suffice.
OK then it's the same stuff.
Very nice! Gonna have to give this a try next week.
