@@solangelalebron1348Wow! That makes so much sense. I can't imagine them making an incision smaller than the area they are removing. Talk about spread by breaking it up in the body before removing. Patients must not know how this works to agree with it. You must have experience with this.

Tiffany. .I can understand you. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer..I worked the whole time..chemo and radiation. Why..well for 8 hrs of the day I focused on work. No time to think about the obvious. It worked for me and that's what you need to concern yourself with. YOU! You are your best advocate for yourself. ❤
Remember Tiffany was bleeding so much before her big operation, impossible to work. Now it will be different I guess

I think this is wonderful advice! I think she is driving herself crazy and rightfully so but the best thing to do imo is get out of the bed and continue work and just keep herself occupied! Maybe now that she spoke to the doctor she can relax a little bit. Awe her mom's reaction was so amazing!! Tiffany is so lucky to have such wonderful support!!!

Work also brought my bf through. He saw 22 patients per week. we had him on a rotation, every 2 weeks when he got Chemo, we set him up to rest for four days. on the 5th day, he'd resume his practice(he's a therapist). It gave him a routine and a distraction, as well as feeling productive.

There are no quick fixes to stage 4 cancer. Even if you go into remission, there is a strong chance that it will come back at some point. You just have to think of it as a chronic disease that you constantly have to manage. Doesn't mean you can't live a good life. You just have to change your mindset.

Anxiety is crippling Tiffany and I 100% know that feeling. Even when I was just in Hawaii for 10 days, my anxiety reared it’s ugly head and I had to just tell my hubby how I was feeling, talk it out and go for an amazing shaved ice. Find your safe spaces (friends, meditation, mantras you say over and over like I do, or a treat) it helps a bit. Just some tips. You’re doing great. BTW, scars show you’ve fought a battle. Mine stem from my military service and numerous operations, but I still struggle with showing them. You’re a warrior sweetie. U got this!
Jeseeee..... talk to your doctor, because if you have stage 4 lung cancer - this is secondary to the initial cancer site - and there could be other places where the cancer has spread.....

I so appreciate your videos because it gives me such deep insights into the feelings behind the diagnosis. My sister was diagnosed with a similar type of cancer seven years ago and she like you is so concerned with protecting everyone around her. She doesn’t ever want to “burden” us by talking about her feelings so it’s hard to guess exactly what she is going through. Your open and vulnerable sharing has helped me so much to understand her, thank you. I am praying for the very best for you with your surgery and recovery.

Tiffany, I am so happy that you finally were able to speak with your surgeon. I know it was a relief for not only you, but for all of your family! It sounds like the keyhole surgery is not as invasive and your recovery post operative will be a short four weeks which is very good.

It’s great that you’ve been keeping yourself busy while you were waiting for the information on the surgery.
While it’s good to keep your mind occupied try not to overdo yourself as you need to keep your immune system healthy and strong! Overdoing things not only tires you out it weakens your immune system.
I will continue to keep you in prayers that the recovery after surgery goes smoothly and that you get clean margins so that you will be back in remission. At least the waiting period is over!!! Tiffany we got this 💙💙💙🙏🙏🙏💙💙💙

Are you getting used to the stoma? I have learned so many tips and tricks over the years.
For intimate moments if you are self conscious (or even just don’t want to hear/ feel it when you’re moving around) , belly bands, or tube tops work great. You can just wear them over the pouch or you can fold them in half with the open side facing up, which creates a pocket for the pouch, that keeps everything tight against your body and feels secure.
They make actual products for that but they are SO pricey.. when a $10 tube top works just as well.
Your makeup looks beautiful and I’m glad you pointed out the scars on your neck but I truly could barely see them. And I love that you spoke to someone so lovely at the hospital, it helps so much! Sending you lots of love 😊💙❤️💙💙

Don't feel helpless - use your skills to research how you can help yourself like you do with your volunteering, doing your life coaching course etc, you get on the net and google, CZcams, etc etc. See what info is out there into what you can change with diet and lifestyle that may have contributed to your bowel cancer. I have heart disease out of nowhere and am now actively reading, learning and changing everything to reverse this. During this journey there has been so much solid info about doing the same for cancer as well as diabetes, alzheimers etc. It's worth a go Tiffany and has made me feel so much better mentally knowing I am doing everything I can to help the health condiitons I have and as you say you need good mental health to help you deal with this. Chin up and keep going.

Hi dear Tiffany, having had a hysterectomy in the past week due to stage 1 cancer, my doctors told me that during pelvic surgeries the patient is often placed in a head down-tilt position. They said that it can cause your face to be very swollen after surgery. Glad your plan is in place, love to you and your beautiful family. xx❤🩵💙💝💕
What were your symptoms of stage one cancer, if you don’t mind sharing.
My symptoms were slight bleeding 5 years into menopause and lower right side abdominal pain.
With pelvic surgery you have air pushed into your abdomen, you may experience shoulder pain post op. I found lying flat helped elevate the pain wishing you all the best ❤

Michelle it’s a myth that being cut open (having surgery)makes it spread,it spreads via the blood stream and lymphatic system (lymph nodes) the best thing for your situation darling is don’t ever let anything slip if you’re worried or concerned about anything is report to your doctor strait away, if it turns out to be nothing then so be it, I hope your 3 monthly check up are always negative, I know it’s easy for us to say don’t worry because you probably always will when ever your having tests, wishing you happiness and good health always 🩵🤍🩵

Hi Tiffany, I think a good way to start looking at this is to try and make peace with the cancer that's in your body. As of right now, it only seems like you have evidence of disease in your lungs. Otherwise, your body is doing a fantastic job at keeping it in check! I think one of the best things you can do is continue to support your body and immune system. Consuming foods and beverages rich in antioxidants and sulforaphanes is a great way to keep yourself going. Of course, discuss this with your care team first. Best of luck with everything!!

I have uncontrolled lupus and for more than a decade now its been none stop medical, I sooo understand how sad and frustrating it can be to feel like treatment will never end, it ok to feel whatever you feel. It's also ok to mourn your
" normal " life before cancer, as its something to grieve over. Even with remission, you wont be the carefree kid you were before. Life can suck, but trusting in God is a journey, and I am learning that even if I dont make it, its ok, God really does have my back. I get more concerned for those around me, but I am learning to trust God with those ppl too. It's crazy that I can be at peace with it , but God also understands when I am not. Sometimes throwing a " temper tantrum " is ok too. You are doing the best you can , that's all you can do. I wish I could give you a hug, just to let you know it really is going to be ok, no matter what happens in your life, God really does have your back.

My mom had a similar surgery - a keyhole surgery to remove her upper left lobe. 3 day hospital stay and was back on her feet in a week or so. Her bottom lobe has grown in its place and her breathing is perfectly normal! Doctors are amazing!
