Hey Tiffany! My mom had lung cancer almost 16 years ago and she had the cancerous piece removed and she has not had any further issues. So I want to send you a tremendous amount of positive energy and blessings that yours is the same 😊
It alittle different she has colon cancer in her lung . I’m not a doctor but I believe this is incurable because of a distant metastasis,BUT there is always hope God is more than able❤
I love your words. Yes, she could live without her lungs, or liver, and live a full, happy life. All is possible being optimistic. I envision a future for Tiff where she'll go happily to malls, sip tea, eat delicious chicken, sit on nice beaches with her boyfriend forever.

Tiffany does not have lung cancer. Tiffany has stage 4 colon cancer that has metastasized to her lungs. I know your message was meant in good spirit but this is how misinformation gets spread. Sorry that your mom had to go through that.

Tiffany, I love your positive attitude regarding handling the things you can’t control like waiting for your medical team to contact you in your upcoming surgery. Here in the states we have medical professionals that are on strike that work for a large health maintenance organization. The actual physicians aren’t on strike , but the nurses and phlebotomists and respiratory therapists as well as other support staff are the ones on strike. Hopefully that will resolve quickly so that it doesn’t put their patients in harms way. Doing things that keep you busy and finding something each day that makes you happy to brighten your day helps keep you mentally healthy!
Try not to wear yourself out. I am glad to hear that Amma is feeling better. I love the shops you went into. As always I will keep you in healing thoughts and prayers. Tiff, your mom lost your dad and knows how precious every moment is. My husband had cancer. I didn’t leave his side.

I think keeping busy whilst waiting for your appointment is so good for you.
I think getting a pet will be fantastic for you all when you have had your operation. Pets lower stress levels and anxiety, perhaps a cat that needs a home. 😻
Tiffany it's very good to have a a cat especially or dog and they're very comforting when you're recovering.
The best thing I did when I was going through my treatment was continue to go to work. I think it saved me - being around people, laughing, not talking about cancer. I was lucky I was able to. Sending much love and good wishes ❤

Your mom is so sweet!!!! You are so blessed to have a great support system around you and having your mom makes it even more special. My mom passed away at 63 unexpectedly in 2014, there were so many things we had planned for when she retires. She was my everything, she was very close to my now 21 & 23 yr old. Cherish every moment you can with her, let her care for you, it doesn’t matter how old you are, that never goes away for her. I am an RN and you are handling this so well!!!!!

Heathcare in the USA is very expensive but in my opinion we have the best. I’m shocked when I hear people in Europe and Canada say they have to wait for a procedure. If you were in America you would have had that surgery already . I hope they get you in soon

Without question you are an extremely strong women. However, don't hide your emotions and don't ever think that we expect you to be cheery all the time when you do you videos. You are going through something that most of us could not fathom. I doubt we would be able to handle a quarter of what you have gone through in the past year. I myself could not even do these videos if I had your diagnoses and I too am a strong women. I pray that you stay strong and get through this with a good outcome, Tiffany. You are a beautiful soul that deserves a lifetime of good health and happiness.

I have only just came upon your channel a couple of weeks ago, I am a cancer surviver and my sister is going through treatment for breast cancer at this time, your head being all over the place is normal, up one day down the next, but I always told myself I couldn't control the cancer it was upto the doctors to do that but I can control how I let it affect my daily life and I wouldn't allow it to do that, it got no space in my head, you are such a lovely sweet girl, I wish you all the best, carry on doing something each day that makes you happy, even if it is doing something for someone else as that's a good feeling.
Mydaughter and i always send love, hugs, and prayers for you and matt and ama and family. I know its hard, i cry in the bath or shower and at times in bed, but i think of you and my friend jenny, and you both give me strength to push thru. You got this, and we got you🎉💙🌻
If I had cancer growing in my lung, I'd not be worried about "annoying them". I'd be calling them every hour until I had a surgery date.

She is a sweet and gracious woman. Even with this lung cancer, it didn't change her goodness. She cares for people around her and even this who wronged and annoyed her. I pray that you will get your op soon.

Your mum is adorable! I lost my mum to a 21 year battle with Parkinson’s disease. It has been almost 6 years since she died. Give your sweet mum a hug for me!
Yes, getting out into the fresh air and into the sun when it is shining brightly... can be healing in its own natural way. It changes our mindset instantly. Be well and enjoy each moment your love and mom which to spend with you!!! My mom was very much like your mom. I miss mine every second of the day.

Go get your dream pet!! Live each day like there's no tomorrow!! Get that lovely cat or dog. They are very therapuetic. Petting them releases stress and feel good hormones. You won't regret it. In fact, you probably will think, "why didn't we get him or her sooner??" Love you all so much.

Dearest Tiffany, you are handling this well. There isn't a grade for it. You will have down days at times, but at least you know how to get out of them and what works to keep you going. If you need to rest at some point, don't worry about it going back to a down day just think I need this day to rest. Glad you are working too. Keeping routines helps. I have had lots of down days (not necessarily emotionally down - more physical down days). However, the attitude helps so much and blogging on this is helpful too. Love and praying for you.

Its ok. We are here to support you through this ride. People feel all kinds of ways and it doesnt matter if your last video was bad or not, it's real life and how you felt at the moment.

I went through the same thing but I was fortunate to have Drs who were very quick to act and keep me informed, I didn’t have to sit around waiting and have my anxiety increase. Keeping busy and occupied as much as possible is the way to go, and you are so allowed to cry if you want too😊

Simple clean elegance is so beautiful. If silly Hollywood in the US could model themselves after such a beautiful woman they to could be so lovely. Here in the US young girls are wearing see through clothing, have tattoos and holes in their face, those silly jumbo eyelashes and so much makeup. Tiff and her sister are a model for real beauty.

That has been my experience too, Tiffany! When I go to work my mind is forced to concentrate on the job at hand, and so for several hours I am free of medical worries! Blessings.

Tiffany, I know what you’re going through. I had an MRI last week and have not talked to the DR’s yet. The anxiety is stressing me out. I’m s happy Amma is feeling better. Well enough to go out for the day while you were working. I’m sure being in the house alone was getting to her too. A day out was just what she needed. Love the nails. It’s been a while since you had your white polish on.

Hi Tiffany! I’m glad that you’re a little bit calmer and you are certainly allowed to have those anxious feelings, I know that I certainly would. Keeping busy helps keep your mind occupied and you don’t dwell on negative thoughts and things you have no control over. I know when my husband passed away in February, I kept busy and cried when I needed to, but time also helped with acceptance of things. I’m still praying for you all, and for everything to work out well.

I don’t know how things work in the UK, but in the US I would recommend studying in the surgeon’s waiting room after telling the receptionist you’re available if there is a “no-show” or last minute cancellation. Your strength is an inspiration to all. Be well. 💙
She can’t do that, there are so many people waiting lists and such a shortage of staff, patience is the best thing, not showing up a busy doctor’s office and bugging the receptionists. In Canada we were be told to leave, we are not allowed to just show up unannounced.
It’s fantastic that you can do that in the US ! In the UK , we have big open waiting rooms and a reception desk in the middle . Sometimes there can be several different clinics running , like eye clinic, ear clinic etc . The waiting rooms are very busy . If you went and just waited often you wouldn’t be noticed . If you are then they’d think you’re weird and would ask you to leave and if you didn’t they’d call security . And you don’t always get to see a surgeon. You usually get a registrar. And now our health service the NHS is in crisis and the waiting lists are years long for an operation . If there are cancellations you get a phone call giving you an appointment but it’s very very rare .
So many of us had our happiness and expectations shattered with the new cancer diagnosis. Amma, Matt and the rest of your family and close friends must be feeling the disappointment even more. Cancer is a nasty disease, and we will continue to pray that you will soon be on the road to full health. Peace be with you.

When I had to have my hysterectomy, I waited 4 MONTHS. Full on bleeding - like a river - nearly the entire wait. Hang in there, Hun!

Waiting now 5 months for radiotherapy after mastectomy. Was told I had nano trace amounts left. Now I have 2 areas - 2cm and 3.4cm. I can't believe they've let it build back again as they've been so busy.

This is the worst advice ever. So much goes on behind the scenes to have answers and to schedule procedures……
One of the huge things that takes up time is insurance approvals for all procedures. People wasting the staffs time by repeating calls only makes it take longer.

@@aliceobrien8390 doctors don t answer call s their secretaries do that and they sort it out with the doctors and sometimes doctors ring you back or their secretary will .my husband spoke to his surgeon quite a lot .

As long as the doctors have the referral, you don’t need to continuously harass the admin and clinical staff. They have a waiting list to manage, characterised by clinical urgency and individual patient need. She won’t be forgotten about! All you would do by constantly ringing is keeping staff from the thing they SHOULD be doing i.e. finalising operation lists, communicating information to patients who are being operated in on in the next few days etc.
The NHS system is different from the US system. There’s no insurance to worry about for a start.

I had a three month wait when I was diagnosed with my ligaments in my spinal cord calcifying. I had a laminectomy and fusion of my neck and need more surgery in the future. The wait was so long but I’m glad it’s over with. Sending you love as always x

You are doing a great job keeping your attitude positive and upbeat as you wait. Love your nails and lippy! 💄I am in the cancer waiting period at the moment too, I’m waiting to get on a trial, but it’s nerve wracking as problems keep arising while I wait. The last time made me lose my spot on the waiting list so now I’m just about at the end of another four week wait and crossing everything that the few niggles that are popping up aren’t going to ruin things again.
Having lived in the UK, I would not take for granted that its ok to wait . Its a new hosp to you, if for some reason you are delayed due to paper work or them being overwhelmed, it might a waste of critucal time. Its almost mid Oct . They found out in early Sept abt the metastestes? I would be bugging them. How is it ok to wait with Cancer?

I’m so sorry you are still waiting. You are taking a very mature approach to it. There is nothing you can do but wait, although I think you should call at appropriate intervals if you haven’t heard from the hospital. Try to stay busy and calm and the time will go by more quickly.
