"Why is it as a woman I have to justify myself more, I have to explain myself more, all the time, it's draining." So many women in business can relate ❤

Because females are born with inherent sexual value. You don't have to put in the work to earn sex and attention. You simply "are" and that is enough for you to get by in life. In a world where you must coexist and cooperate with men, you gotta accept this reality to move foward. She is right. As a woman, you MUST justify yourself more, explain yourself more, all the time. That's the game you signed up for if you want feminism. Demonstrate your competence beyond your sexuality and EARN respect in a male-dominant field of work.

    • @missweeandrea

@@snotrohmitabc123 We don't have to work to earn sex and attention, are you joking? Why is there a beauty industry worth billions then? You think every time I like a guy he just falls at my feet? I wish. This is not the reality for women at all. Only INCELS think it is to justify their own bitterness. Women don't want to just 'get by' any more than men do, we want to fulfill our potential, and that potential can be held back when we're not taken seriously despite having equal or better qualifications. Women didn't sign up for being underlings in a male dominated world. We were born equal and feminism tries to regain that. Women and men have the same inherent sexual value that's how reproduction works. My post was expressing solidarity with woman in business, your post was not constructive nor needed. Maybe listen and try to understand how we feel and you might be more desirable to us in the future. Prick.

We could blame the commodification of women as trophies but that ultimately comes out of an existing patriarchal foundation. From a man's perspective, everyone has to justify themselves constantly so they are blind to the struggle of others because they themselves are sorting it out in terms of how much abuse do they want to take daily. From an anthropologist's perspective that gets worse at the extreme ends of the social responsibility spectrum, or in modern neoliberal terms, the capital responsibility spectrum.
People frequently use politics to justify adherence to in-group as a shortcut. If you are a woman working in a "man's world" then this is potentially more difficult to do. But it's also very difficult if you are a man who rejects or fails to perform within those standards of acceptance.
So while it's great that you can relate, you shouldn't assume that there is anyone who CAN'T relate aside from those who think their positions are so stable they will never change, which is a delusional state of perception.

@@snotrohmitabc123 What an idiotic take. I enjoy your lack of critical thinking skills as demonstrated through your lack of mentioning of gay men. Who are attracted to men. Or women, who themselves are attracted to men - you neglect to see the male as enough. So what it comes down to really, isn't a female situation, its that, as a male, who is weak, lazy and incompetent - you don't want to control yourself. You believe women have to prove themselves more than their sexuality because that's all you see them for. You, you're the problem. Youre the reason women have to prove themselves.

When she says, I don’t know what I want, women we don’t know what we want, it’s the 26 year old in her speaking. She’s young. It’s the age. As she goes through life, in time, her lived experience will better help her understanding. Especially as she goes through life and better understands the wiring of different personality types as you become a keen observer, perceptive of what motivations truly drives them, and what they authentically value. As wisdom grows and sets in, as you understand the true spirit, nature and character of each individual and as you grow more secure in yourself, things begin to come together more cohesively when you come to a more balanced maturity of being, that generally comes with age and experience.

good point. I wndr if it depends what stage the business is @? If it is in the blding stage I see y most of wat is on her mind & wat they talked about was the business. But it does seem a little imbalanced that that was "ALL" they discussed in their personal time together?
I like yor comment about u & yor husband having clear roles in the business. I can see that really working b/c u r a team in yor business but also a team as a married couple. Plus the interests outside work make u guys seem to hav more fulfilled & like complex lives in a good way.
Krissy is very driven & focused & that is why she has achieved the place she is right now but I hope the cost isn't too much in the way of other areas of her life? Hopefully she can find fulfilment in her personal life whether that be having a relationship or not? Mayb she does enjoy her personal time but it kinda sounded like she was having to sacrifice something there just to be so goal oriented on her business. I'm not sure?

  • @melissarogozinski7979

This interview was so real and helpful. Most of who I am is my professional self. I’m very happy there. The personal life is often a struggle to be as happy.
At 50, I have finally reconciled with the reality and challenges of being a successful, entrepreneurial woman: single, childless, difficulty in dating, being told that the one problem I have in relationships with men is that I intimidate them because I don’t “need” them. It’s unfortunate and unfair and hurtful to me…but it is also someone else’s insecurity.
I am grateful for the way God designed me and the opportunities I’ve had to encourage others throughout my professional journey.
If you’re in my life, it’s because I WANT you there. Why do men force us to choose between needing and wanting them? Do you need me or want me? God said it was not good for man to be alone, so he created me (woman) to be your partner, your equal.
    Man up.

WOW, my mind is blown! Krissy! is my identical twin in every aspect possible. I could write a book here but there are just no words. I feel right now I am experiencing a depersonalization moment watching myself sitting in the chair across the table from you and would have the exact; word for word conversation. I am a MD physician, medical school professor, mentor, and small business owner. It would be life changing if I ever got the opportunity to meet her just to have the conversation I’ve sought my entire life to have with another. Thank you Steven for giving me this gift through your podcast that has me feeling not alone anymore in a room full of people. P.S. I would skip lunch completely in high school because I couldn’t face the social hierarchy the lunchroom announced daily illustrating universal high school trauma. By not participating in this social diversity practice which I at such a young age identified as a practice of discrimination in the context of lunch table privileged set criteria of social acceptance within this student community dictated and enforced public announcement of your social popularity status and where you fall within this constructed hierarchy. I so strongly was against this and refused to be socially partitioned as it did not align with my values, morals, and principles that I sacrificed with daily hunger as a demonstration of my unwillingness to change & conform to this community’s social set criteria and cannot be categorized or judged as inferior/superior as I am my own unique individual who refuses to change a thing about myself. Sacrificing food and experienced daily hunger for 4 years was a deep rooted refusal to sacrifice my entire belief system of equality and universal acceptance; but more so the person I was working hard to become. 😊 - Rachel Desmond, M.D., M.S.

This was an incredibly interesting conversation. Watching Krissy describe her obsession with work and the difficulty she has maintaining relationships speaks volumes to what women have to choose between in today’s society. It’s very clear that she uses her work as a source of validation AND to serve others. To the point where she feels it will sustain her need for love and romantic relationships. What’s unfortunate is that time and time again (whether you’re a man or woman) studies show that the biggest source of discontentment for most people when they come to the end of their lives is whether they had rich, healthy, loving relationships. Very few people get to the end of their lives and wish they worked more. She’s clearly a phenomenal entrepreneur. I wonder when she’ll reach the point where she’s gotten “enough” out of her career and allow herself the breathing room to settle into love. Wish her all the best. Great interview.

In the end, we value our spirits and one another over money or companies or whatever. I totally get what Krissy means when she says she can feel the energy from her online community. I was only thinking this the other day how at the gym i never speak to anyone, people are busy doing their workouts but there are regular faces, theres the same man i quite often run next to on the treadmill, not spoken to him, but, you can feel a connection through the energy. We are all there doing the same thing, similar goals, listening to the music, feeling the burn. It's a good feeling to feel part of it. I also wanted to say i kinda get why Krissy feels like her online community are her friends but i also think that it may feel so good to podcasters because rarely people will say negative things, its mainly people just praising your content therefore it's easy to "get along" if you see what i mean. A real friendship has two way interaction and we may not always be so agreeable towards eachother. It's good that she feels so close to her community though but just saying it can be a little superficial too.

This is a great episode, really enjoyed watching! I've watched quite a few of these episodes now and quite a lot of the guests on say they don't have many friends and I really relate to this.Sometimes I feel down because I don't have a huge group of friends but I really agree with what Krissy said about it's much better to have 1 friend who supports and celebrates with you towards your goals and vice versa rather than 20 friends who don't really care or understand. Watching these episodes of people who have done so well for themselves makes me feel so much more comfortable with this. Thanks for getting Krissy on and also for the Three Sixty community you both are starting, can't wait for it!!

Thank you for this podcast! Chrissy authentic vulnerability touched my soul. I am a 48 yr old woman who used to be an athlete. I developed cancer and have issues with neuropathy and pain so it sent me into deep dark depression for a long time. I have a history of depression on and off and the fact she made mental health so relatable makes me lover her more! Christy is definitely doing what she is called to do. Someone so young and introspective is amazing! Exercise absolutely helps mental health. It felt her energy and passion for the women of the world! Fire! I really needed this because I have been stuck in a place mentally because of my physical limitations and past tramas. I want to feel passionate about my life and this gave me some confidence and has impacted me in a way I will never forget. Also, Christy, as you get older you will lean into what is meant for you in relationships. Its okay no matter what that looks like, kids and husband or not! Look at Oprah no kids and no husband.a life partner and stepkids but being a world changer was her baby! So many options nowadays. Having kids doesn't always fulfill everyone but others it does. You are still learning like us all. You are ahead of the game and your authenticity will keep you on your path. I love you cuss by the way! I love to cuss. 🤣! Podcast like these are healing the world! Again, thank you! I used to be a weight trainer and hope with some modifications I can be again. Much love!

I've always liked Krissy. Ever since I've discovered her on Instagram, I noticed that she's an amazing person. Very genuine, loving, driven, and painfully honest. I don't think I've ever seen an Instagram fitness trainer who had so much selflessness and genuine care for others in him/her that I see in Krissy. She's accomplished something absolutely amazing. She's pretty much settled for life financially, yet she keeps going because she loves what she does. That speaks volumes about how much she wants to help struggling women.

She reminds me of my 3rd daughter Christina (I have 4 daughters and masters in counseling women and children).
Christina is an Aries with 0 degree Leo rising. So amazing and motivated for both personal success and relationships. She would say the same thing that she’s “difficult”. She is strict in her expectations. But in her chart she is destined to build a home life of protection and peace and harmony.
It is OK to be “difficult ““!!! You are probably the most loving and peaceful person in your heart. And you’re just trying to protect that.

I love Krissys vibe. I found her whilst trying to find reliable exercise advice for my wife would just started training and didn't really know what she was doing. I had worked with personal trainers in the past and some of the technique based knowledge she passes on is excellent. I had suffered with recurring lower back issues and it was actually watching a video of her demonstrating squat technique properly that helped me begin to correct and heal that. Plus she seems really genuine.
