They don't come up with the tricks. The magician's do. They have to hire; train their assistants; do the presentation; interact with the audience and market themselves.

the assistant's really are the entire show, i've done magic shows and it's insane how much the magician isn't doing the real work, it's all us!
The magician is essentially the diversion for the audience, who'll spend far more time looking at what the magician is doing than what the assistants are doing.
If only the magician didn't force the assistants to work for them in perpetuity. Oh, cruel world.

Ironically, he's more famous as the Masked Magician. When this series first aired on television over 20-years ago, the final episode was him revealing his true identity, and everybody was like, "Who?" and then almost immediately forgot about him. That's probably why he resumed his Masked Magician persona to record more episodes, because that's where his real fame and fortune was.

At 1.04 the second rod bends, and at 1.16 the third rod bends. Bizarre how he only shows how the ends are solid. Because they are. It's the middle 2 rods that are flexible enough for the assistant to bend and squeeze through! .. I'm like 2 minutes in and i already know how it's done!

Pretty assistants is key point to get audience from trying to figure out all the tricks that goes on while the trick is performed. If they used someone with a face that looked like an unmade bed, no one would look at them. I hope they get paid faitly, as they are the ones tha makes the magic happen.

I was thinking twins because they didn't show you the other barrel being empty. She could have just tucked the second red hanky back in her pants and they should have shown the other barrel empty.. that would have been even more convincing.

The magician places bars which protrude from the top and can be seen clearly. When she passed from one barrel to another through the spring-connected bars, why did we not see these bars, that are protruding move down and bend?
Even before the end you knew there had to be something wrong with those " solid " steel tubes and those " solid " steel plates.
