I actually find these kinds of tricks more impressive after I know how they were done. It's less 'ooh mysterious' (and you of course know it's actually fake) and more 'oh, that was clever'.

How to escape:
Preparation: fill jug with milk
1. Before getting in, ask if they can remove the window for you.
2. If yes, then get in.
3.remember, they didn't give you handcuffs.
4. Crawl out of the window.
5.while the sheet is in front of you climb on top.
Boom you escaped!
Doesnt the pad locks make noise when moved tho? like when he lifts the top? i assume they would clang.
If this was done on a stage with a live audience, I imagine there would be loud music to mask the noise when the magician lifts the lid

in Houdini's day, he would have had a key for the cuffs
or really any piece of metal because handcuffs all have this simple lock.
Even Houdini almost always used gimmicked handcuffs.

i love this show but i don't like how the narrator lies. saying that they are real handcuffs, just don't say anything about them man. Im trying to guess how he does this stuff and that doesn't help

Started at 1:38 I gave up at 2:19, holding my breath with him. Yeah I guess you can say I hold my breath a lot. I do it also whenever I cross a bridge or something. I always practice just in case. #LifeLessons

if you look closely the key is problably in the top of this milk bottle , and other thing i realize is the water , i just goes to a certain level , so hes surely breathing on the top of this thing.
I survived every minute when the guy left the can
I held my breath as long as he was underwater so for a good minute
When the curtain was up I saw shadows of him climbing out
I wonder if anyone has accidentally put the false lid back on in a different position, so people could tell the locks were not in the same spot that they were
