Breaking the Magician's Code: Magic's Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed is a series of television shows produced by Nash Entertainment in which the closely guarded secrets behind classic magic tricks and illusions are exposed by the Masked Magician, aided by his beautiful assistants.

Even if this had a few tricks behind it, it’s still very impressive. It’s an incredibly dangerous trick, and I wouldn’t want to do it myself.

I remember when this aired on television when I was a kid, and this was the very first trick I saw on this show.

...they are charged with Involuntary Manslaughter.
Yeah tricks like this are pretty dangerous and they could go wrong in so many different ways.
The glass gets smashed and the assistant gets fired.

I thought it was similar to the milk can trick where the entire lid came off, and that he was simply taking his shoes off (because his feet aren't being restrained, his shoes are!) and slipping out that way. Interesting to see how he actually did it, though!

+Richie rich lol Houdini was an escapologist, this guy is an illusionist, two very different things. Real escapologists don't raise a curtain, they do it in full view of the audience. An illusionist makes you believe that he escaped, when in reality he merely lifted himself out of the tank, which is not hard, the hardest bit is holding your breath for about 1 minute, but even that's a piece of cake, I can hold mine for just over 3 minutes.
you can see it is fake cause when the curtain goes up for the first time and then down again there is a lot of water flowing to the ground while this "cage" is supossed to be closed..

I noticed watching this series that is it often the assistants that do all the work.....squeezing into small compartments etc.....Houdini was not just a magician but a debunker of the supernatural...so an early athiest.

I saw an assistant pull a pin out
At the start the magician gets a secret handle to unlock the shut trapdoor and lift himself up for a breath then he goes back down to act like he is struggling then he lifts himself back up again this time climbing the chains and wala the magic trick is exposed! Edit:oh they already explained it xd

Lol after he told us about removing the pin, I saw her hide her hand and take the pin lol
The two assistants pulled the pin off the opposite side of the hinges. You can see them both clear as day take it after the secured the pad locks. Nice try tho
i am not convinced that is the true explanation. in the first play, you do not see the assistances pushing the pins out. I think it is a decoy.
