I'm a Data Engineer with 2+ y.e. in AWS and Spark. How do you chose which technologies you think are worth to learn really deep like you said? I'm concern that if I go really deep on a topic I won't be able to get jobs on the others for that reason I try to know a little bit of everything.
Thanks Raj, very helpful as always !!
Yw, glad this was helpful. Have a great 2024
Hey Raj, now you got me a little confused. Are the free "deeper dive" AWS badges you mentioned inferior to certifications or complimentary? Is it the sort of thing that would actually have any value if you already have something like the Solutions Architect Professional or even the Associate version?
They are complementary. Think of the cert as a broader college degree and the badges as specializations. For example, the SA Asso or Pro cert exams are not going to have deeper EKS questions, but the EKS badge will have advanced EKS questions, and getting that badge means you have gone in depth for EKS.
@@cloudwithraj Thanks for the insight! This is the first I hear of those badges but I will do some research on them.
In light of the ongoing global economic crisis, it is crucial for everyone to prioritize investing in diverse sources of income that are not reliant on the government. This includes exploring opportunities in stocks, gold, silver, and digital currencies. Despite the challenging economic situation, it remains a favorable time to consider these investments.
The pathway to substantial returns doesn't solely rely on stocks with significant movements. Instead, it revolves around effectively managing risk relative to reward. By appropriately sizing your positions and capitalizing on your advantage repeatedly, you can progressively work towards achieving your financial goals. This principle applies across various investment approaches, whether it be long-term investing or day trading.
Even with the right strategies and appropriate assets, investment returns can differ among investors. Recognizing the vital role of experience in investment success is crucial. Personally, I understood this significance and sought guidance from a market analyst, significantly growing my account to nearly a million. Strategically withdrawing profits just before the market correction, I'm now seizing buying opportunities once again.
*@heathermellon7826* That does make a lot of sense, unlike us, you seem to have the Market figured out. Who is this consultant?
The decision on when to pick an Adviser is a very personal one. I take guidance from “Gertrude Margaret Quinto” to meet my growth goals and avoid mistakes, she's well-qualified and her page can be easily found on the net.
Thank you for the lead. I searched her up, and I have sent her an email. I hope she gets back to me soon.
hi sir, regarding the mentor community post couple of months back. is it finalized,.
Have a great 2024 Raj! You are my go-to source for cloud info. Any more classes coming this year ?
Happy New Year Glenn! Ty for being supportive from the early days. Thinking about couple ideas, nothing concrete yet
Hi Raj!
I have aws and solutions architect experience, but like you said it's crucial to dive deep into one specific skill. I want to learn more about Kubernetes, gain the experience and deep knowledge. Should I go for a Kubernetes certification like cka, ckad and cks?
Kubernetes is a good skill to have these days. Yes, get a Kubernetes cert to showcase your skill, also put K8s projects in your GitHub.
You are AMAZING 🤩 Happy New Year🥞
Ty! Happy new year!!
Hi Raj, thanks for this video.. I need some help from you regarding EKS and GITOPS and want to have a call with you for a couple of minutes and gain your insights. how can I reach you?
Hello Raj sir, in 2023 I started learning about DevOps related technologies and learned basics of linux, docker, version control, github actions, gitops and achieved certifications such as CKA,CKAD,terraform associate and AWS cloud practitioner. I completed Google summer of code 2023 in SUSE but there were no roles available there. I am applying to many jobs in LinkedIn but having no luck. I do not know what should I do to break into the roles. I would really appreciate if we could connect someday
Are you a fresher or currently in an IT job? Are you getting to the interviews or no reply from recruiters?
@@cloudwithraj I did my frontend intership at AICTE in 2022 and then got a job as a non tech manager in Digital India corporation and worked there for 1 year . Between this I got selected for GSoC in April 2023 decided to leave my job as my boss and colleagues were not very supportive about it. After my GSoC period ended I gained three certifications i.e CKAD,terraform associate and AWS CP and I have applied to more than 80 companies on LinkedIn but everytime my application is getting rejected. I have had a couple interviews too but didn't get selected in the interview as well. Currently I am without a job trying to build more projects and start contributing to CNCF projects as they offer mentorship programs like LFX mentorship and Kubernetes release shadow. I am constantly trying to increase my network by going to DevOps and CNCF related meetups.
Learn Microsoft Azure Az-900 is the future in an AI driven market over Aws
Excellent video Raj da.. what an amazing thing.. I will start learning Gen AI soon
All the best Nilava, and Happy New year
@@cloudwithraj thank you dada and Happy New year to you and your family 🎉
Hello Sir
What is your opinion on transition into the devops side from the full stack developer domain.shall I move or not
Full Stack Developers get more money than DevOps. But question is, do you like coding? If it's painful and not having fun then start learning DevOps and see if you like it.
@@cloudwithraj I want to move into cloud side along with coding
@@RakeshBitling Then learn the compute service where your code will be run, and associated services that your code will interact with (Secrets manager, databases). Instead of DevOps, go to cloud developer route IMO. DevOps roles won't have much traditional coding
@@cloudwithraj hi dada could you pls give me complete roadmap for cloud developer along with full stack
@@RakeshBitling Dev associate certification
Hi sir, can we get openings gcp devops in next few months?
@cloudwithraj What if this layoff leads many super intelligent tech professionals to start new businesses that actually propel new growth?
That'd be dope and always a possibility, though startup funding are down 38% as investors are also holding cash. But I really hope what you say becomes true.
Is becoming a java developer a good move in 2024? I am considering this as an engineering path via "Merit America" java program.. I do not have any experience in IT, nursing background looking to shift in IT
