Thanks Honey for sponsoring today’s video!
We built custom front long travel suspension for our Honda Odyssey ATV using parts from a snowmobile and our Polaris 500 quad. This A arm conversion was a ton of work but so worth it! We cant wait to show you our new wheels, tires and how she rips in the next video!

This is SICK! I've always wanted to engine swap and long travel an odyssey, didn't think about how involved it would be. Great work!
Now u finished the k swapped Nissan I think it’s time would love to see it
Your chassis work gets better with every build. You're really starting to come up with some great looking designs.
Form AND function. Thanks as always for the video
Oh you guys should mount some small round LED-head lights in the dimple die holes of the front suspension mounts! It would look sick!
The Modessy returns!
I swear there's gonna be *nothing* left of the origional Honda product by the time this is done
It will keep the steering wheel
that's the idea
@@eyeballengineering7007
Isnt that always the point!?!?
Most mod, most improvement possible!
A test send......
I LIKE IT A LOT! 😃
You guys totally gotta put headlights in the dimple of the shock mount. Give her some (whatever color your planning on painting it) coloured eyes
You guys could build solid metal cube and make it interesting to watch.
They should🤔😜
If you are looking for someone who makes high quality vids on cubes check out “this old tony, squaring stock”
You know... if thats your thing 😂
You should paint all the new frame in the front white then it would have a sick two-tone Honda theme
Official uniform of the Grind Hard garage: Black hoodie, blue jeans. I could barely tell you guys apart in the timelapse.
Should they have assigned color like a kid's show? :)
Are you guys planning on building a larger shop? The old garage is getting pretty tight to work in.
Once the Triumph is done (or waterproof) it should open up a bunch. If it was me, I'd build a Car Wizard-type garage where the Crunchy Taco is parked up on the hill as a storage garage, with maybe a lift?
I like the fact that they are doing all these great builds in an old garage! Adds alot of character and inspiring that you can do so much in such a small space. That said, it would also be nice to see them build a larger shop. They can build whatever and I will still watch haha
@@jesperhagstrom I appreciate the small shop and the sketch factor. Not everyone gets it, but I get it.
Not really, they have plenty of space and small spaces usually increase creativity factor on how you do things. Not having a lift also does the same thing and they are generally working on smaller than car projects in there. Only thing they could do is to add roof on front of the garage so they can work on car size projects on outside.
Generally its not the tools or spaces where you work. You can do same things, but its just takes bit more effort or time to do it with what you have. For instance is built whole custom desk on apartment buildings living room and just out sourced surface finishing to buddys garage due it being winter and thinner gasses being bad for my pets and my self and plywood cutting to store, but i could have done whole project there. Also this meant lots more cleaning than in usual shop/garage.
Steve Reinhart I think it’s tight because of so many ongoing projects
When I was a teenager my boss bought an Odyssey and put a 1385cc Kawasaki bike motor in it. It was amazing!
I liked that Sam was included more, he seems like a great guy.
I like how he says test send instead of test drive now 😂😂😂
Im spanish, i dont catch the concept of "send" .Can someone explain me please? :D
He means full throttle the whole time and not taking it easy on the build
I said that before, I say it again - I respect you because you get a lot done in one episode, some of the ,,old time favourite youtubers" of mine, now make 30min vids with nothing in them. I can skip 3 videos and still know what is going on.Here, on your precious channel on the other hand? If I'd skip half an episode I wouldn't know what is going on! :DSo THANK YOU! Cheers from Poland.
P.S. Also love the fact that you boys read the comments!
You are really past the point where it would have been easier to just built it up from scratch 😂
Sometimes its not the destination but journey that matters and I am grateful that you are taking the time to film it.
You guys should start a second channel where Ethan teaches metal fab
And Edwin teaches cinematography
@@t1mblumer yeah that would be awesome
THIS
Both if the things mentioned. A 2nd channel that lightly goes into fab and how you film each episode
put some round halogen lights and yellow smile covers on them
I died when I saw you cut up that frame but what you guys came up with is amazing! Nice Work!
Got my magnetic beer koozie an fresh black GHPC shirt... Good quality merch....
Thank you guys for what yall do.
Hands down the best YT Channel of 2019
At this point it needs a new name there isn't much of the Honda left. Nice build I can't wait till it's completed
Shot from 5:08 to 5:20 is wicked cool!
Can't wait to see with the new wheels and tires
I think you guys should seriously consider making the odyssey fore wheel drive, love the videos,I am always exited for Wednesdays and Fridays.
You are very close to having a rallycross kart....You might as well go all the way, now! 🏁
Your remix starting at 15:30 or so is straight fire. Love the swing beat.
I look forward to getting to watch your videos every time I get the notification you upload. You guys are killin’ it.
by far the best fabricating videos I have seen, done in a backyard workshop. You guys workmanship is outstanding. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing.
You guys have some of the best montage music it’s so good, just flows through the video
NEVER STOP! I cannot get enough of your videos. Highlight of my media consumption!
Edwin looks like he smoked a big Idaho blunt before he recorded the ad roll lol
You guys used your classic song!! The one at 8:56 is literally my my favorite piece of music I've heard from your series. It'd be cool to hear more original music!
I'll also add, it's just a damn good song. Always get vibes when I hear it
Gucci gang, you guys are the actual best CZcamsrs
You guys are building some awesome stuff.... I can’t wait to see the camera done it would be cool to see y’all build a 4x4 power wheels
once again a fucking banger of a video the cinematography from edwin was absolutley insane. ex the smoke from the welder in the light of the sun passing through the garage door. i was in ahhh and not to mention ethans fabrication and engineering skills really inspire me to think outside of the box but also to make something perform and look the best it can. cant wait for the next video yall
When it is all said and done, I would love to see this go against Cars and Camera’s Crosscart.
Cars and cameras wouldn’t stand a chance, they are nowhere near as good as these guys.
Screaming Diesels I don’t know man, it looks like C&C’s crosscart hauls.
ISuperfan, this has a lot bigger engine, bigger back wheels for more speed, and is better made. “C&c” can even weld as good as these guys, nor can they even shift. C&C uses their camera skills to get good shots to seem like they are “shredding.”
Screaming Diesels I don’t care if C&C gets stomped, they look like fun guys and it would still be a fun video to watch to see both carts tearing it up.
@@ISuperfan I'm with you on that, I never ever hate on someone else's hard work no matter what is, however I do like to through my two cents in on suggestions soley based on facts/experience to maybe help them somehow, not make them give up by laughing at them. If they where to get together sometime, set both buggies side by side, let them look at each other's builds, then let the schooling begin!
Been watching pretty much all of your videos in the last few months and now I rate my excitement for your new videos as high as any other channel. I love everything, reminds me of me and my brother back in the day but on steroids. You should really clean up your playlists though. They are generally a bit uncomplete with the names and "seasons/episodes" inconsistent. Would be nice to watch a project from start to finish without missing videos in the middle! Keep up the awesomeness!
Was gonna start fixing my gokart today but will probally start tomorrow. Thanks for the insperation.
Finally, I've been waiting to see the front end solution, and I have to say I really like where you're going with it!
I'm a huge fan, and fellow builder.
I'm a machinist/fabricator..
I also have an odyssey and endless list of other projects.. I don't have alot of time to watch you guys build stuff.. because I'm building my own..
But when I do I'm always impressed. The cinematography is top notch as well Edwin.
Maybe do a special with viewers builds.. My daily is a sick old 2wd yota that I jump at least twice a day.. Rockin' your sticker on the back.
I'm in northern utah, have endless ideas and tools to build with.. Let's get together 🤔
It's looking great! Even the ackerman angle looks right , top job👍
Its time to give it a real name . Not much Odyssey left! Great Job Fellas!
B roll Slo-mo welding sparks flying ftw 😎
The slow mo weld smoke shot was pretty awesome!
It just looks so right, now. If time machines existed, these guys could go back to Honda and show them how to make it correctly!
LOVE the way that front end came together. Looks awesome.
Good job boys, I’ll be there to pick it up Thursday. Lol
I’d have such a blast on any of your toys though.
Please hurry and rip it.
Lovely work as usual, so nice to see you just chop out something and do it properly rather than hack around what's there. Cannot wait to see this full send 👍
I love how you went back to old school crafting. Don't get me wrong, I like the new equipment and parts but there's something about making something out of nothing.
thank you
Thicker wall tube is nice, although the frame will just snap where it meats the thin wall in a crash or huge bottoming out. Hope u gusset the frame a ton.
This build just keeps getting better and better. The fab work looks great!
Ohmgosh, that “70’s TV Show” intro music was AWESOME! 😁👍🏼
I watch all your videos and you need to upload more often because all this week I've found myself coming to your channel hoping you have uploaded when you haven't ... or I might just be addicted great work
I'm ready for Ethan's ground-up concept vehicle, I know it's rollin around in that noggin!
This thing is like a cross between a RS1 and a cross kart. I love it
imagine if you guys chopped it in half and extended it 4-5 feet and made it a 2-3 seater, that would be so sick
I like how there isnt any oddesy left lol
Yeah they weren’t far from simply building a totally separate chassis.
That steering is wicked good
You guys should race the rowdessy against Cars and camera’s crosscart! 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
I like the C&C crosscart, and I'd love to see them collab, but it doesn't stand a chance against the Odyssey. This has roughly twice the horsepower and probably 2 or 3 times the suspension travel. I'm guessing similar or maybe lighter weight too. The Camaro would probably be a better comparison.
Eric Baumann still good content
Looking good! I'd sleeve the bolt holes in the square tubing so the metal doesn't deform!
Props guys that thing is lookin sick!
That’s a cool project!
It was a childhood dream of us to build a engine in a pedal car😂
You’re living this dream on a higher level guys 🤜🤛
Love the Akina Boy music!!!!
Crazy to see how big your channel has gotten. I remember when you had 60K. Keep up the good work, love from Canada 🤘🇨🇦
Production quality is getting to be awesome. Loved the smoke in the sun rays slowmo, before the advert 🧐👍
Cant wait to see it with the new wheels and tires.
I think it should be painted old school looking. Light blue some sorta red decal or designs and white rims with white letter tires
It looks like one of the coolest cross karts I've ever saw
you should make a blind nut to use on your punch, it will keep the threads from getting messed up over the years ahead.
@GHPC
The front tube frame looks awesome an mean AF ....great job guys can't wait to see the new lap record for this build compared to previous step up
Edwin killin' it with the cinematography. Slick dude.
Woho!! One off my favourites on YT!
Best thing with fridays. Cheers from sweden
You guys should add some body panels as mud protection, maybe a firewall, i think it would really clean up the look a lot
Might want to put a bracing bar on the bottom between the lower A-arm mounts, pretty much where the grinder was resting in the last shot.
You could do some serious water skimming with that front end as it is. Has a nice profile of semi pointed john boat. Big paddles on the rear...and punch it !!
It looks like a well built racing machine, ripped before now it looks like it would fly! Excited to see it's progress and the fit and finish nice work guys 👍
Man the Modyssey is really starting to turn into a serious badass. Love it.
The way you guys molest this fl350 is amazing!! Keep up the good work! Great channel!
Man, I would LOVE to get a 3-D model of that rig now that you have it pretty well figured out. It would be a blast of a project building the tube frame from scratch and getting a wrecked quad or side-by-side off co-part for donor parts. I bet there are some fun engines that could be used in place of the snowmobile for people like myself that are from the desert and have never touched one before, haha. Awesome episode though!
That nose shape should become GHPC signature front end on all custom built vehicles
When I watch your videos my OCD kicks in. I can't understand how you can go from one project to the other without finishing the first project first. When I start a project I have to finish it before I move on I just can't see how you could jump like that not freak out. I love your videos though keep them up.
I have add so for me its the polar opposite. I don't get bored from working on something for a long time per se, but I'll get really tempted to do something else
SomeInternetKid same i will doing something and be i rather do this and move to that
When is a project ever really finished?
@@abels_04 when you can't think of anything else to add
I think it comes down to parts....or tools. Sometimes you have to wait for stuff. I suspect they were waiting for the 1 1/4" bender dies before they could do this part of the build.
Was a little concerned when you cut the front off. Then you totally redeemed yourself! Awesome.
This thing is turning out SO AWESOME! Your videos rock; they always go by so quickly!
This thing is so cool. I get inspired to build stuff and go fast. You guys are awesome.
These folks are on another level, wow!
Way cooler than I expected! Keep it up, can't wait to see it rip!
I like the piranha. They have metal forming dies for the punch end of that. 2 1/2" , 2", 1", 1/2" four way vee bottom if I remember right. About 10 inches long and will bend 90 degree bends.
"You could hit a bus with this and the bus would not be good"
Thats what we call a good crumplezone! Or something not that at all.
Loving the new song!
I'm digging Akina boy..👍👍👍👍👍
having done long travel suspension to my own odyssey. that is quite different, not the way I would of done it, but what ever works
Who would dislike🤨
Wow,no shit. I didn’t think anyone would do that. But yet there’s 3 haters so far. WTF
haters bro!!! HATERSSSS hate us cuz dey anus!!
O.g. die hard odyssey for life fan boys
@@wiitness8314 true
Jealousy is a cruel mistress
Odyssey + Grind Hard Plumbing Co. = RODYSEY
You lads are exceptional fabricators. The steering and ability to eliminate bump steer is brilliant. Have you been thinking about converting to rack and pinion down the track?
I see you guys hammering the pieces flat after dimples. I saw a Moto Mule vid where he used the con cave die on top of plate in the press to flatten the piece after dimple.
Yeah! I’ve been looking forward to this video for weeks now!
Can't wait for test drive
Cut a piece of heavy pipe to fit over dimple dyed areas to straighten after forming
This Odyssey is going to be AMAZING ❤
Super designing/building skills and wonderful videography. Yew, this is going to be so ripping rowdy. Oh yeah!
