  • In this video I make a Ribbon Corrugator for corrugating ribbon microphone foils. The Corrugator is made from 3D printed plastic(PLA) parts, M6 steel bolts, M6 nyloc nuts, M4 bolts, M3 bolts and two metal paper crimping gears.

May I ask you what does the vertical bolts do on the second iteration? Are you interested in selling the corrugator or its design? Very cool!

Hi, The vertical bolts help with horizontally aligning the gears so the foil comes out the other side straight with straight even corrugations. I can make that corrugator with plastic gears at present but I would prefer to make it with the same size metal gears which are hard to find. I'm looking for a supplier of those metal gears.

Hi , This corrugator was custom made. I have corrugators for sale on my website pfsonics.com that are a more basic design made with plastic gears. pfsonics.com/product/rc-48t-ribbon-corrugator/

Hi Curt, I made one of these corrugators for a customer in France. However I no longer have any more metal gears. On my website pfsonics.com I have corrugators for sale made with plastic gears which are similar size to the metal gears in this video. pfsonics.com/product/rc-48t-ribbon-corrugator/
