- I found this recorded on a VHS tape recently. The recording is missing some lines at the top and bottom, but I've cleaned up the audio best I can.
I'm unable to find the title of this film.

Very Nostalgic
Lovely to turn the clock back and see the Blackpool that my grand parents visited
Those heritage teams were beautiful as were the illuminations,, beach and high tides
The ice cream "van" on the beach was so lovely to see, we used to get " Pot of tea for the sands" from Tomlinsons cafe up North prom, great compilation 🎉

Good video, been looking at old Blackpool video's all day, like the footage around 16.00 mins in from the 1940's.
I used to live in Fleetwood and my mum and dad would go to Blackpool a lot. The footage from the 60s & 70s is exactly as I remember. Life seemed simpler then. One ride at the pleasure beach I never thought I’d see again is the rub-a-dub-tub ride. I thought it was the best thing ever.

If anyone's remotely interested; the tram in the thumbnail and 19:49 is maintained and run regularly at Crich Tramway Museum in Derbyshire. Good to see it in its traditional home in this video 🚋👍

First one could be a Fairthorpe or a Bond Frisky. 2nd one is a Hillman Minx convertible. 3rd one - only red car I can see is a Ford Anglia 107e. That do you?

I fcukin loved Blackpool, what a place. Shame times had to change its nothing but a shit tip now full of drugs n misery, last time I was in Blackpool I was offered drugs and witnessed three yes 3 FIGHTS. I just don't know where we're headed, it's a fcukin damn shame. 😉👍

I agree. Last few times I went to BP was very disappointed - really starting to look shabby and dire ... but what goes down must come up.
