_Information regarding the 2020 Boba Fett Stand Alone Film_
The film was previously slated to be directed by Josh Trank, with reports suggested that the film was to center on Boba Fett. Yet, Trank left the project following troubles on the set and poor reception of his film Fantastic Four. On August 17, 2017, it was reported that an Obi-Wan Kenobi spin-off movie is in the works, with Stephen Daldry in early talks to direct. Furthermore, it was mentioned that films about Boba Fett is still being considered for the future, but not likely a 2020 release.
_Why didn't I include the Star Wars: Clone Wars Micro Series?_
As of April 25, 2014, it is no longer canon to Star Wars and is considered Legends.

Legofan Productions That's BS that they considered the Genndy Clone Wars uncanon, while it actually wrapped up Episode 2 and Episode 3 extremely well. TCW 2008-2013 should have been the one called uncanon, because it recreated some events from Episode 3. So Idk what's going on in Disney, but I will forever call Star Wars: Clone Wars by Genndy canon. Makes the most absolute sense.

Only the original Star Wars didn't have a number in it's theatrical release. In 1981 Star Wars was re-released in the theater for a couple of days and it had "Episode IV A NEW HOPE" at the beginning of the opening crawl. The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi always had Episode V and VI at the beginning of their opening crawls.
Yeah. The studio made George Lucas cut Episode 4 A New Hope out of the film, which he mentions on the audio commentary.

The films were always called Star Wars Episode 5 The Empire Strikes Back & Star Wars Episode 6 Return of the Jedi. George Lucas filmed the title Star Wars Episode 4 A New Hope before it premiered, but the studio forced him to cut it out. When the film was a big hit, he was able to put it back in. I must be the only one who watched the audio commentary.

Cloudia -1st of all, you're discounting season 6 of The Clone Wars. That is the actual finale of TCW, though it's just a nitpick of mine.
2nd of all, there is only 3 earth years between episodes 2 and 3 and 10 years between 1 and 2. You can check it out on Wookiepedia, where they have a timeline of all Star Wars cannon. Also, all episodes of TCW and the movie take place between episodes 2 & 3, but they are often out of order (some season have episodes that cross paths with other seasons, for whatever odd reason), and are spread loosely throughout the timeline.

Yeah, the problem is that disney completely ruined the Canon by declaring entire extended universe to be non-canon. But I don't consider it canon either, mainly because Lucas himself wanted every copy of it to be tracked down and destroyed, along with Harrison Ford getting PTSD from it...

Don't do it because some of the information is flat out incorrect - such as the claim that the Episode numbers were "later added" on to the first movies.
You're not entirely correct, Episode 4: A new hope subtitle was added in 1981 theatrical re-release. Empire and Return of the Jedi were numbered though.

Kenobi might still have something to do with the sequel trilogy, potentially as Rey's grandfather or something. So until Episode 9 ends probably won't get an Obi-Wan stand alone movie.
Joe McKim Disney said Obi Wan is key to 7-9 that's why there hasn't been an announce meant yet although if it is coming they better make it soon because Ewan is the right age or will be soon for him to have one last or three more movies the movie would possibly be set before Rouge one and in the rebels time line
McGregor still looks good for someone for a mid 40's guy and will probably still look better then Guinness did by the time he gets to his 60s so he'll have plenty of time to still play Obi-Wan.

They would've had Boba Fett as the second stand alone movie in '18 if it wasn't for Trank shitting the bed so badly on Fantastic Four. They haven't announced anything about the Fett stand alone officially yet so maybe they want to see how the script comes out first with an another idea for the '20 stand alone as a backup plan.
Originally when Josh Trank was set to direct the 2018 stand alone movie it would've been a Boba Fett movie. But when they brought in Lord & Miller they instead wanted to do the Solo movie. Hopefully the 2020 movie will be the Fett movie.

In episode 7 boba fett not there and it clearly not be there on 8 and 9 so that mean he would have die ad cancer. If he did survive pit then he might be die and let his son wear his suit. I do want SWTOR to be canon though. It's my fav SW video game. However, The Christmas Special, Ewok Adventures, etc. are not canon and probs never will be added back.
