In the theater when Yoda pulled his cloth aside revealing his lightsaber, the entire movie theater became a rumbling of gasps and awe.. and then the fight started and the entirety of the theater erupted in uncontrollable laughter. Although it was indeed awesome, it was equally ludicrous and hilarious. lol.

The fact that two of the clones who were with Yoda in the first clone wars episode were the same ones that tried to kill him on Kashyyyk in ROTS is just soo saddening to me
You know, it would’ve made sense for Yoda to force push the objects against Dookus ship. Destroy the ship, strand Dooku, clone wars never happens or ends early at the very least
Yeah, I saw the How It Should Have Ended version of this too.
Dooku also should have stabbed yoda while he was saving Anakin and Obi-Wan, but this is a show and drama sells much more than logic

I'm not so sure. Palpatine had been planning for decades, covering every little detail and readying countermeasures for everything he could think of. He left virtually nothing to chance.
He planned everything to make it look like the Jedi tried to launch a coup so he knew some Jedi would be coming to arrest him even if he didn't know exactly who it would be. Therefore I'm sure that his plans would have included ways to defeat whichever Jedi came to try and stop him. Especially the strongest ones like Yoda.
Palpatine wouldn't have let decades of work go to waste by being unprepared at the very last hurdle. It's why I also have a problem with Mace Windu defeating Palpatine in their lightsaber fight in his office. Palpatine would surely have planned a way to counter Wndu's Vapaad and to defeat him long in advance of that final night. To have not had all that planned out would be totally out of character for Palpatine.
It's plausible that Palpatine didn't lose to Mace Windu but planned it knowing Anakin was about to show up. He needed to appear weak and defenseless to further turn Anakin. You notice how Palpatine gets slightly more "frail" when Anakin shows up and even "begs" Anakin to help him. Which we both know is something Sidious would never do seriously.

When I first saw episode III and it got to the Yoda/Palpatine fight scene I thought OOH DAAAAAMN YODA IS GONNA TEAR HIM UP!! Yoda’s dialogue was so freaking epic

I didn’t really understand how this was a prequel at the time so I really thought Yoda was going to kill Sidious
Yoda was underrated in the films, but in TCW, he was a badass and those battles he did truly showed it! Obviously I know that the Jedi were forced to be on the front lines as they weren't soldiers, but keepers of the peace, but with the CW, they had no choice but to be on the front lines and lead by example. The war did make them soldiers, but again, Yoda was a badass when it came to battles!

Yoda, who was confronted with his dark side during the Clone Wars, as well as in exile on Dagobah, will teach this lesson to Luke Skywalker where the latter will pass it on to Rey (see Star Wars 8 : The Last Jedi).

Even tho the prequels are my favorite cause I was a kid during them times, the og are better, not just because of the story telling, the word play, dialogue themselves, but the shots were amazing, wayyyyy too much open spaces, I can deal with the cgi it’s just too much open space, with non Star Wars like shots, camera angles are terrible.

Probably because he was the only one almost 900 hundred years old Jedi Grandmaster by the time of the clone wars.
Being able to block it is actually Yoda channeling it back to Sidious, a power that's very heavily hinted to be rooted in the Dark Side.
@@Ben6164 right. I never knew that. So my assumption is, yoda being grand master and all. He is able to just channel it back, without ever being at risk of going to the dark side? That would make sense
@@Ben6164 nothing to do with the Dark Side, it’s a Light Side ability called “tutaminis”, the user doesn’t make the lightning itself, all the user does is direct the incoming assault back or absorb it.
