- I dusted off my '04 championship bike for one of the most fun times I've had riding a dirt bike in a while! Hard to beat the sound of a crisp 2 stroke that takes me back to one of the best years of my life!!
We're the Reeds! Chad Reed is a multi-time supercross and motocross champion and the record holder for the most main event starts in AMA supercross history, with 265 starts! After recently retiring it is time for us to start the next chapter in our lives and we've decided to bring everyone along for the ride with us on our new youtube channel The Reeds!

You should set up a 20-lap 2-stroke only race with you, RC, Bubba and K-Dub. That race would sell some pay-per views
With POV cams, that would be awesome.
Maybe a 10 Lap Main, Don't think K-Dub could keep pace up for 20 ;)

Imagine if he took the championship bike to a supercross at the end of the season and got her into the main. I reckon that would definitely receive a standing ovation.

Unfortunately the AMA only allows a bike to be 5 years or newer to enter into a pro event like a Supercross. And yes, I’m extremely fun at parties..
And then he told matthes, keefer and JT to suck it afterwards
Too bad there's a homogalation rule I might have spelled it wrong but it means you can only use bikes that are so many years old but there's plenty of other series we could race that bike against others
Would be just as exciting if he qualified on a KTM or modern YZ, any 2T.

Always thought of Reed as an enemy being a R.C fan. But man I've really grew to appreciate Chad Reed and love the 2 stroke stuff keep bringing the 🔥 🤙

@@randytrevor3935 is he still with KTM? I doubt it since he rode that Yamaha. They would never let him ride it within a contract. If he were standing beside of it would be one thing but to let him break ranks, which is also considered promoting (both KTM and Yamaha make competing 2-Strokes) for another Manufacturer, would be against Regs. I think he might be promoted by a local dealer which is a completely different deal than being promoted by a factory even though that factory supports that dealer. It’s still not the same.

These factory 2 bangers from back in the day are to supercross what the v10's were to Formula 1. They are iconic and define the sport and the era. And 2 strokes in general put a smile on your face in a way no other bike can, you can just see it written all over Chad's face.. Nostalgia.

The sound of how free reving that engine is in the air and how crisp it is when it's barking 4th gear out the turn before the whoops and just gets straight to the pipe after it gets on top of the whoops, it was truly an art to ride a 2 stroke and Chad was/is Picasso

Brings back memories for a lot of us! Thank you for all the entertaining years! Remember little Deven with the blue hair? He did a photo shoot with you for a catalog. You wrote him a personal letter. He still has it. Sat on your bike in the pits at Anaheim back in the champion years. Those were some memorable years for us. Thank God I ended up with your signed jersey when you were the champ. Dev and I still follow you. We were there from the start and enjoy watching your videos of the family. Keep it up Chad! You Rock!!!

Watching you rip on your old bike is one of the coolest things I've seen in a long time for real. Still know how to get in there and get it done. That Yamaha sounds absolutely amazing . I could smell the premix oil and race fuel through my screen. That smell burning my eyes never gets old. What a great video, no overdubbed music or anything just straight 2 stroke music for 90%, also great to hear your thoughts on the bike now vs the 450. Would love to know what Chad was thinking about when he said he’d do things a little different if he could go back in time?
It was so cool to see Chad riding this past weekend in St. Louis. It was the Highlight of the night. I had my favorite riders to be in the tope 10 and they all did what they needed to. The other cool part was that MM25 won overall. Well-deserved and I am sure Tomac thought that was cool but wasn't going to give his spot away in front on the last moto. Marvin tried to get it, but Eli was on point.
Chad you are a great Ambassador for the sport, and you can see it in your face, you Love everything about being on two wheels, Your Kids or you or your Wife supporting you on the sidelines, Your Like JS7 with that grin of living a dream.

Absolutely awesome! It's funny how you know the mannerisms and styles of these top riders and they never change. Same legs when going off a jump, same butt, same arm position and body position. Only Chad Reed looks like that. If it was Ricky, same thing. Great production, Chad, I know that took some time with all the cameras and editing but it came out great! Fricken miss 2-strokes! I was pissed when it went to 4-stroke. I would go to the nationals and it felt empty. My girlfriend who never rode but went to a few races didn't want to go anymore after 4-strokes. Same with some of my friends.
Hopefully this will motivate your kids to feel like, whoa, that was powerful! I want to go that fast. That's what motivated me back in the day.

You were my hero in 03 I was 15 my mom supprided me with a 03 yz250 with racetech suspension set up for Scott O Herret who was a privateer sx racer who had 50lbs on me and it had procircit platinum pipe with r304 looked just like your bike with the factory style graphics and I was stoked best bike I ever rode to this day best suspension I felt invencable also had the Thor gear I had to get you looked sick in! The blue white and tan! I had poster of you and your bike with mag cutouts all over my wall you a legend I hope to see you at a race some day✊👊🙌

I love hearing your thoughts and opinions on bikes. I've always preferred the steel frame over aluminum myself, I'm pumped to hear one of the greatest ever to race has the same preference.
