RIP Glen Helen in the AMA calendar such a cool track. Hope the 2 smokes never really die such a big part of moto. Enjoyed my KX60 YZ80 and YZ125 on the way to my YZ250F where i converted to 4 banger. That original 250 was wild the header pipe would be glowing red id never seen anything like it at the time

I was standing right on the edge of that corner at the 19:00 mark. Holy smokes man the speed that brown and the other guy were going on that corner was insane. It’s awesome watching brown race he has no problem letting that back end drift coming out of the corners.
Those two put on a clinic! I knew Carson would be fast but I was very very impressed with hoeft he was so smooth

The balance of the fork/shock on the RMZ 300 is amazing
Of all the bikes I've ever had (in my 15yr MX "career") thru the 80's-90's, my RM250 handled SO well. Didn't have the beans, but I loved that bike for its handling. My CR250 damn near killed me at Glen Helen because the ass end was leading the front end seemed about half the time! It swapped like crazy, and I was known for my handstands and epic saves and crashes... I wish I'd had somebody then who could have helped me dial in suspension. I didn't know how to do it, so I just rode balls out all the time and either won, crashed, or the bike broke.

Awesome video bro. Thank you for sharing. Brown was on fkn fire man. Dude has speed . His bike sound so crisp and definitely on the pipe. You stated that his bike was a Suzuki/KTM hybrid. What is that ? I nvr seen or heard of it B4. It sounded like a 125 but was flying like a 500.
I think it’s either a RMZ250 or RMZ450 with a KTM 300sx motor. His silencer needed some fresh packing and he was ringing it out!
