      Our souls are actually in a dream...and we need to wake up...and then, we would realize that we are actually the soul and not the body...I think you would feel peace if you think it that way...so, nothing would really affect you because whatever is currently being affected is the body and not the real you, which is the soul...don't worry, God is always there with you...

    Tiffany. You got this. I’ve been a cancer nurse for decades and I’ve learned that it is uncertainty that can be one of the toughest parts of this journey. Some people think it’s side effects of treatment that must be the worst but my patients have taught me that it is often the uncertainty and changing of the plan that is the hardest. It is great that your team is not rushing to nail down the plan, taking a bit of time to get input from every specialty is important so even though waiting to find out the plan is hard it’s likely best in the long run. Take a pause and let all the teams weigh in. You are doing great, sad days and frustration are all to be expected and I also know you will find comfort in a good cup of coffee, a cozy blanket and time with Matt and your family. You have so much support. One day at a time, it’s hard but you are really good at finding the blessings in each day even when they are really tough. You’ve taught me a lot 💜

    Hi Tiffany, I’m a survivor of colon rectal cancer with involvement of the vagina. My treatments in the US were opposite of yours. I had chemo pills and radiation first then chemotherapy and I had surgery 2 months after treatment. I was told my body needed time to rest and respond. And it did. I had 3 major surgeries in one. I have a permanent colostomy bag because my rectum was removed… I was told from the beginning that I would have a colostomy so I had time to watch CZcams to learn how to take care of it… it hasn’t bother me or slowed me down one bit lol…It wasn’t easy but I made it and I have been cancer free for 6 years and going strong. Dear Tiffany, that is a tough pill to swallow! My husband also had anal cancer and went through all the normal treatments--chemotherapy, radiation and surgery. The first round of treatments didn't work for him either. The doctor's then came up with many more rounds of different chemotherapies , more radiotherapy and several more surgeries. His tumor continued to grow (although, luckily it didn't spread). Eventually, everything came together and the cancer was finally gone! His battle was over a dozen years ago and he remains cancer free. Its is always easier when the first round of treatments works and you can just go on with your life. But sometimes, the doctors have to try a few different combinations before they find something that works for your particular situation. In the meantime, of course, I know how mentally challenging it is for you and your entire family. Love to you all.

      and what is the succes percentage?

    • @Its_me--Boo_Radley
      @Its_me--Boo_Radley Před 2 lety +3

      It depends on the stage of cancer, but I think for anal cancer that is in the early states, the cure rate (ie, alive after 5 years) is 80%. But those are usually the people who are in early stages and who respond to the traditional treatments. My husband's cancer was much more advanced and stubbornly didn't respond to the traditional treatments. However, his doctors decided to keep trying different combinations. So basically he had another six weeks of radiotherapy, and many different combinations of chemotherapy. If one combination didn't work, the his oncologist would try another combination, etc. This went on for several months. He also had several surgeries. His cancer eventually responded. He has been cancer free for not just 5 years, or 10 years, but 12 years. Percentages might make you feel better (or worse), but in the end, it boils down to how each individual responds.

    Tiffy my dear, I am a cancer stage IV survivor i have commented before as I am also a medical professional (P.A)! Look this wasn't what you hoped for BUT, your cancer did respond to treatment for else it would have spread in the past year. Now they will have to take another approach, possibly a different chemo but for sure a stronger version, to get your tumors to shrink to a size where surgery can be performed to give you the BEST outcome. Keep your spirits, I wasn't given a good prognosis at all snd have had madsive treatments BUT in keeping the faith and ny spirits up, I showed them all. This is now nearly 20 yrs. ago! As a medical professional I advise indeed physical exam under general anesthesia. In this perspective the team of treating physicians can come to a more precise decision as how to proceed in the best interest as it relates to prognosis on long term. From what i understood, a debulking surgery is most probably the next step but the oncological surgeons will need more information than any scans can profide. I am not disappointed about the news, as you still responded to the treatments by not having any increase in size or metastasis. Focus on the positive. There are more treatment options and protocols for your situation, so keep your head up and continue this journey. You, Amma and Mat are doing a great job. Sending hugs💙

    coming from a nurse of 19 years I truly believe they are taking this time just trying to figure out which route is best with surgery. They know they have some time because radio therapy and chemo have kept it from growing. So both those treatments have worked right even if it didn't shrink right. your young healthy and tolerating everything so well so no rush into surgery is good planning on the part of the doctors takes time. Love you Tiffany you'll get through this!

    I think it is time for another opinion. I had ovarian cancer they said it was worst case. I was not a surgical candidate and I had gone through 35 rounds of chemotherapy. Surgery was not option for me however, Jesus had another plan for my life and he secretly whispered in my ear to get another opinion and I did at Sloan Kettering in New York City. I was so glad I did that because they told my doctors what to do and I was able to have a hysterectomy and there was no signs of cancer. Of course, I pray everybody prayed for me. I will be praying for you. It does not hurt to get a second opinion from the experts. God bless you

    Dear Tiffany, I have watched almost all your videos and observed often the reactions of your mom and Matt. You want to protect them against any difficult results - and they want to protect you and be strong and hopefull. I have worked a long time in the medical field and what I can tell is, that the best you ALL can do is to speak with each other about your fears. It`s normal to be scared in this situation. You are dealing with a life threatening desease. And all your loved ones know this and you know this. It`s absolutley not about losing hope or give up - but I am really deeply convinced that the situation will be much better to handle for all of you, if you talk open and honest with each other about the possibilities ahead - the good ones, but also the bad ones. Maybe some of the Tiffany thinks family will now be mad about me that I am writing this, but out of my experience honesty and truth can be very comforting and healing in so difficult situations. And I am talking from a loving and empathic heart for you and your whole family and loved ones. So much love for you.

      The human body requires a well balanced mixed diet! This girl is fighting a stage IV cancer that is her priority!
      Veganism is stoo*pid and as this whole rainbow nonsense, leftist/libtard smack, completely ignorable, a "hip" statement of today's youth and those who cover up other issues with that sign in front of their door!

      @@deusvult2302 I never said she was Vegan. Also, The Plant Paradox is not about being vegan either. In fact, the author recommends some meats and fish. Furthermore, he states how many plants have natural defensive mechanisms that can make them toxic, hence the word "Paradox." Plants don't want to be eaten. Anyone would be quite fortunate to learn from this book. Perhaps if you read it, you would understand better. It is a solid recommendation.
      You are correct to point out the importance of eating a well balanced, mixed diet. The big problem is that many people haven't a clue what that is. It is also as much about avoiding toxic things as well- from both food, topically applied products and the environment. Unfortunately I noticed that she loves cosmetics and applies them liberally. There are many well known carcinogens in cosmetics (make-up) that leach into the blood stream.
      I know what she is fighting. I was recently fighting against a potentially deadly illness myself and optimizing my nutrition is one of the things that helped to save me.

    Dear Tiffany, Hoping you’ll see this. I’m your sister in this. You are in the cancer vortex. I was too, from 2019-2021 (first stage 1B endometrial; then stage 3B colon). The vortex is an all-consuming hellish place as you’ve come to know. The percentages & outcomes are are a wheel that turns and we are the needle rotating to land eventually at our destiny. Life as we knew it stopped when we entered this vortex. Accepting that as we rotate towards our final outcome, there ARE things we CAN contribute to our experience. You’re doing those things (HOPING, PRAYING, LAUGHING, RELEASING NEGATIVE EMOTIONS, FINDING EVERY SINGLE SILVER LINING, LOVING YOUR TRIBE, etc.) TIFFANY - KEEP DOING THOSE THINGS while an out of our reach ebb and flow continuum is in play. One day, listen to me, one day just as you were once suddenly sucked into this vortex, one day you will be shot out of it. You WILL stand on the other side of this!!! You’re an amazing, strong, beautiful WARRIOR - act like one/think like one every moment that you’re able to choose to do so. On the days you cannot - let your people carry you! I hear you! I see you! I feel you! I’ve been where you are! I edify you! I pray for you! I admire you! The positive energy of thousands of others surrounds you! Lean into it and breathe WARRIOR QUEEN!

    Sweet Tiffany. I’m so sorry the news wasn’t what we all hoped for, but you’re strong and in great hands. These surgeons and oncologists are brilliant and will come up with the perfect process for your cure.
    You’re surrounded by love and we all lift you up in prayers of strength. You’ve got this 💙. Sending so much love.

    You are the most precious and positive young lady. Not many things on CZcams I allow my 11 year old daughter to watch. Just know she remembers you in prayer nightly. You got this Tiffany! Prayers from the USA!
