Meaning the device itself could be a bootstrap paradox
In simple terms, the device is taken by horizon, used, and ends up back in the Effect And Cause mission through some timey wimey wibbly wobbly nosense, and ends up in Duardo Silvas collection, and ends up in Horizons hands again all to repeat the loop, ad infinitum.
They better not merge olympus. A better idea would be have a meteor hit bm so we have dusty divot on broken moon but make the crater the size of the entire map

This can have so many outcomes.
-Broken moon gets destroyed and replaced by district
-Broken moon gets chipped down, but Olympus gets destroyed and replaced by district.
-District is a merge of an alternate Olympus and Broken moon.
-They both survive and district gets added as a separate timeline map.
My wild guess is that apex is going to use the time gauntlet for different timeline ranked splits. One split consisting of the main timeline, and one split containing the new maps or old maps that got destroyed, and then you'll be able to pick a minimum of 3 maps you want in your pubs matchmaking. This is just a yap session I wish would happen, but knowing EA and the recent layoff sessions, it probably won't happen.

I would say that they're smart enough to not remove a liked map such as Olympus but then again they've made questionable changes in recent times and I wouldnt be surprised if this was the case

I'm mostly interested in how the Broken Moon update will go, since the devs had essentially a year and a half to collect player feedback and make the map update.
I played olympus yesterday and the same olympus teaser is present, perhaps this olympus is an alternate version of olympus
While broken moon needs some changes, i really hope they dont ruin it. Broken moon has been the most fun to play. Just do something about promenade. That place is a magnet to thirdparties...
Broke back moon is the worst map, by majority decision. Its only good for people who want to loot, but not shoot.

I'm 100% sure too it's going to crash into broken moon, OL & BM are the only maps where the terrain is floating in nothing. If RSPN really wants to they could just chop off 1/2 of broken moon and replace it with olympus

I don't think they should remove Olympus for the queue. Especially if the new legend, Alter is an alternate version of Horizon, the voice lines between Broken Moon and Olympus could be interesting. "Like looking into a mirror."

Too many maps? Hell no, it needs more maps. The titanfall universe needs more lore and exploration of its universe. Apex and its community, to be honest, in my opinion, are killing the franchise

What happens when two maps really like each other is one map goes though a portal and the two maps do "adult stuff" and 12 weeks later a baby map is born, but then the mama map got COVID and died and the daddy map was forced to raise their baby map alone ;)

If they wanted to rid one a map it would 100% not be Olympus and if it is then that's a silly move to make considering how it is mostly liked. Storm Point and Broken Moon are liked far less.
SP is very well liked outside pubs and gold and below ranked games. Broken Moon is literally whatever tho ur right.
Ppl hate olympus for ranked and competitive. They clearly have to make bigger changes to create a better balanced playground for serious gameplay.
Too many wide n open fields or too big height differences which leads to impossible rotates.
Stormpoint is maybe hated in pubs but its great for ranked and competitive scene especially with the latest map update.
Broken moon is utter garbage but at least its the latest map so it doesnt get as boring as olmypus. Still hope for a huge change for competitive reasons
Olympus is my favorite map so I wouldn't be happy if it was permanently gone but if it were to happen I wonder if it's because they know Broken Moon is hated and Olympus is liked so they might be thinking let's merge a liked map with a disliked map so hopefully people will lile it more but still I would really hate for that to be the case
@@zeronin4696 they should definitely made the new map good for comp and ranked to have 3 maps for comp and ranked (WE, SP, and District) and the other 3 (BM, KC, and Olympus) exclusive for pubs unless they want to overhaul any of the maps to make them balanced for all modes

Olympus is like the only decent thing keeping me playing this otherwise ass game. If they crash that into the dogshit that is Broken Moon, coupled with how bad they continue to botch rank (where are my actual good ranked rewards) I might as well just switch back to Warzone.

It would be cool if the map actually did come from a different dimension, and that would lead into the mobile Legends coming into the game. I know respond has said that they wouldn't bring in the mobile Legends to the main game, but I sincerely doubt that will be the case forever

Just fix broken moon and rename it 'moon'.
The "size" of the broken moon map is not the issue is the fact they give us a larger map with zero proper ways to traverse the map. The dumb ass zip line gimmic for the map is trash and would only work as a poi town take over for pathfinder not a whole ass map that is to big for zip lines that only take you from point A to point B while being a easily shot, loud sitting duck. Atleast grav cannons have tech tied to them and can be used to make them better that just point at to be with not way to devert the direction you go on it other than jump off which makes you a sitting duck since If your not horizon you will take a second of sprint stun which inturn WILL get you get every time. The map needs tridents, a rework to zip rails where zip rails intersect if they want to keep the gimmic for the map.... but honestly just get rid of them for tridents, jump towers, phase runner, literally anything other than a shitty zip line that in most cases don't get you in or out of a fight all it does is make you easy to be shot at like a valk ult after the nerfs
I want to see the anti cheating team prepping a new anti cheat update or the audio team prepping a new audio system.
