Luka Doncic has been incredible so far in his NBA career. Every year he has improved his game and has been one of the front runners to win awards like the MVP. Thanks to his dominance, many NBA legends and current stars view Luka in high regard. Some even going as far as to compare him to other legends and wishing they had an opportunity to play with him. However, with the praise there have been a few haters, some of whom Luka converted with his amazing play, while others, Luka will eventually change as well.

@@bigdawg4883thunder has a better more well thought out team, and surrounded by more talent. Mavs has almost no defense outside of lively and maybe Luka. Kyrie is injured too much, and not defense oriented. Before with porzingis and Brunson, their team was deeper and a better roster.

Improve his shooting? You just proved you know nothing about Luka. He just had the most efficient game in NBA history where he scored 73 points in less than 40 minutes with 75% shooting %. He had a 60/21/11 triple double last year, the only one in NBA history. In December and January he averaged 38/8/9 the first time in NBA history. He did it for 2 months. He’s also #4 in defensive ratings just behind Jrue Holiday. Sooooooo?

Luke near enough gets a triple double every game, meaning he has to hit at least 10 assists, how is that not involving your teammates and making them better? Americans have gotten used to thinking athleticism is the NFL combine: how fast you sprint forwards/sideways, how high you jump, and what weights you lift.
Luka scores on the court, but NBA is still a business. Fans see it as sport, but the showrunners see money. I can see Luka's greatness and love him. I like his calm playstyle and his mature change of pace each time he got the ball. Seems that he've working on his defense too.
The question is not why they "do not" support him, since things aren't this "simple" most of the time. My question nowaday is "WHO" is moving things like this from the shadow and "WHAT" these people want. I say this because I see too much "hate" evidence and it is just dumb to ignore it...
Luka's already had tons of amazing moments in his short time in the league. His career mixtape is going to be so long bro. They better hope this dude doesn't get a decade of a really good team. When Larry first came into the league he was as fast and graceful as any 6 9 245 lb. man. I don't think Luka is slow, he is just as fast as he needs to be, because I have seen him accelerate just not very often.
everyone did not think he was going to be great in the NBA. Most of the media thought he was going to be a bust. They all saw small clips of him and judged him based on his athleticism. Only the people who actually watched him play full games knew he was going to be good.

The Mavs regularly lead the league in the fewest turnovers. His individual numbers might be high, but that's because he always handles the ball, more than anyone in the league.

Problem is no racism because Luka is white, and inverse racism doesn't exist. Also is not racism, because there are white players the American fans love in every major sport, from Baseball to Football and of course in Basketball too in despite of black players been more commercial. There is also the fact that afro descendants like Giannis receive their own share of hate.

you dont need speed in basketball, you need a sense of distance. in the end they cant push you, touch your hands while shooting and so on because its a foul. luka's slow pace allows him to change direction at any time and that allows him time to think of his next move. if you move right for each step you make the defender needs to make 2 and because you're slow.. you dont make the 2nd step as quick and now your other side is free. of course you need amazing sense to pull it off and its not fancy, not something that would make you feel like a superhero. luka would be fairly boring hooping in the hood. thats also part of why you dont see the professor and the likes be big as pros. being a pro isnt about being fancy its about winning

Luka is a victim of media bias, but not in the way you're thinking. Every average - good white player that has come before Luka has the media hyping them up as this amazing player. In sports, a white person only has to be average to be great whereas a black person has to be great to be average. There's gonna be scrutiny on a white player being deemed great as so many white players have been undeservedly hyped up. Look at the history of hyped white players in the NBA and yeah... the vast majority of them didn't amount to much. It ain't racism that's stopping the media from recognizing Luka, it's history.
