Also carrying an at best mediocre team together with Brunson to the WCF at the age of 23 should be proof enough that his play style can be successful. Further he keeps improving every year. He is still young.

@@RT-qz5ci He is still fine. You dont collect 8,8 rebounds, are 8th in steals etc., if you show low effort in the defense. Overall he seems to have improved in this regard as well. Of course even players like him have weaknesses and yes...sometimes he cant control his emotions. Since you seem to be a huge Jokic fan...he isnt among the best defenders either btw..

The only player in the NBA that can compare to Luka is LeBron. Compare their numbers from the first 6 seasons. Luka beat James as well, but their numbers are mostly close. He's a top 20 player RIGHT NOW. Fuck championships, he'll get them eventually. But there's literally no one who ever put up Luka's numbers in their first 6 seasons. He already owns numerous records for players in the start of their careers, and he's still getting better. Feel free to look up numbers. No one in NBA history was at 28.5 / 8.5 / 8 at this point in their career.

People don't get Luka yet, Shannon Shark is so into Luka is slow and how come he handles defenders that aren't lean like LeBron or PJ, well, Luka isn't slow. He uses the right speed to play in a crowded small field, for his buddy he has the proper speed. Unless you are as lean an MJ or Kiry Irving or Iverson, Luka has amazing ball handling and outstanding footwork, so he can play with changing motion and speed to the sides. On top of his physical skills, he controls the game and has a vision so good that defenders can't know what is his next move, or in what direction he is passing or moving, or shooting or passing or dribbling, that's impossible to guard.
