I would still pick ayton you don't pass up a 7 footer
Everyone the league is trending to the 3 point line but the only one I seen win is golden state shooting 3s
It fuckin hurt hearing him say real Madrid in barcelona ffs
Kareem Blackston Houston has been winning for the last 2 years shooting 3s. They were the number 1 seed last year, I don’t remember where they finished this year but it was surprisingly high considering their injuries and how horrible they started off. The only team that’s really had their number is golden state, the “other” three point team. Also, the bucks shot a ton of threes this year, and they did great up until they ran into Kawhi. I don’t think you have to shoot 3s like the warriors to win, but it does seem to be trending, at least a little bit, in that direction.
This dude won euro league mvp at age 18 if he wasn’t European he’d have easily been the first pick

@@drmeatspank805 it's obvious Luka had much more potential. In modern nba the classic center like ayrton dies out. It's like back in 1984 with mj and Hakeem or in 2007 with kd and oden. Sun's and kings should have scoutet Luka and he would have gone easily number 1 overall without any doubt.

Love when Luka said it's easy to score in NBA than euro league then average double and almost triple double haha!
Stephen A. Smith will never swallow his pride and call a European basketball player good before an NBA draft.
To be fair it’s not only Stephen A. Smith. It’s also people like Colin Cowherd and Max Kellerman. It’s funny how people like Will Cain actually respect European players but they don’t have the same level as fame as Stephens, Colins, and Maxs of the world. Btw don’t forget to subscribe :p
Stephen A. Smith is a bona fide black supremacist.
Stephen A did say he was good. The only reason why he said Ayton should go number 1 was because the suns had the pick. Luka flat out exposed this american commentators.
I know you said commentators, which is not directed at people like me, so I understand you are not insulting all of us, I can only hope that you don't think all of us are like this. Seriously I was more upset than you, as an american, with the way they were treating donic. He *won the mvp* as a boy playing against grown ass men, whoever thought he wouldn't walk into the league and be excellent clearly just doesn't know enough basketball or holds too heavy of a bias against international players
And what amazes me is that those commentators are incapable of learning their lesson. Porzingis, Yao, Ginobli, Doncic and a dozen more this century.... don’t they even consider that MAYBE they should look into basketball out of US more seriously? That MAYBE they’re being dumbs and blind to the fact that young players overseas are playing professional basketball for real money with tough adults.... no, they’ll do the same bs with the next non ncaa big prospect
Not in the way you're implying. Showing them up would be playing this well and they hadn't even discussed him in the top "ten" of the draft or something. Almost everyone had him in the top two or three. Most of the attention in America is going to be on American hoopers. Understandable. It'd be hard for most talking heads in America to guess at a number one pick being an overseas player that they really haven't been watching like Max admitted to with Doncic also.

Deandre Ayton was a good pick, sadly he was chosen in the same draft as Luka
Luka was CLEARLY MUCH BETTER, 18 years old and EuroLeague MVP
Luka was definetely better but it would’ve been a huge surprise if Ayton didn’t go one. It was a situation in which Ayton had been projected 1 for a while. I’m not saying Luka isn’t better because Luka is better, but hindsight is 20/20 and Phoenix has seen better from Ayton now that he has some guys around him and are trying
Luka is a better player, but Ayton is 22 starting for a legitimate contender, playing absolutely fantastic in these playoffs. Suns wouldn't be as good as they are if you swap Luka and Ayton. They need Aytons defense more than Lukas offense.

Who here after lucka demolish the suns in game 7 2022. He only play in 3 quarter and had nearly a 35 points triple double
When I saw him play for Real Madrid at the age of 16 i knew he was headed to greatness in the nba. He will shock people throughout his career.
“How often do you get the first pick
Unless your the Cleveland cavaliers without lebron”

He's Kwame Brown among analysts
He’s knowledgeable, he was just wrong on this topic.
He does seem like a bit of a dumb ass sometimes

Hi Doncici just killed the Ayton's Suns in the conference semis
Deandre Ayton actually had a very good rookie season
Nate Jakola Fax
Exactly I really think he gone be a problem but it's something about Phoenix that just ain't right. They need some help too much talent keeps coming to suck that bad.
im a mavs fan and i believe ayton is pretty good. the suns is just so weird i dont k ow why a booker-ayton team doesn't even contend
He did but not as good
@@joashmacaraan2236 They have to start to defend. All of the best teams committ to defense. The Warriors were an unreal offensive team but they were also a Top 5 defense, a couple times No. 1. Young players need time to develop their weaknesses Book's weakness is the defensive end. Same with Ayton. Consistency on both ends is what they need to take the next step.
If you guys would pay attention to what Stephen A said.. He agreed there was an argument for Luka as the #1 pick had Phoenix had not been the team to have that pick. The Suns badly needed a young big, Not another guard like they draft every season. They made the right choice for their team, Luka is clearly the better player. He never argued against that.
Stephen A, lol, always comes down to race
I like how they don’t mention Wilt and Wes when talking about great rookies. They won MVP in their Rookie year 😂
To be fair Stephen A wasn’t really wasn’t doubting doncic, he was just saying that the Suns are so bad that they just had to get to get the sure thing so to speak. Even though we know Doncic is the better player now at the time of the draft it was debateable between Doncic and Ayton
Right, he was talking about best fit for Suns moreso than the best overall pick.
Yeah Phoenix really had to get him guy was the best player at Arizona in the home state lmao
I still think the Suns made the right decision. Ayton had a good rookie season and I think he still has the higher ceiling
The Suns had/have no defense so Ayton was still the right pick. Not sure if Fox & Doncic would coalesce with the Kings either. Doncic is perfect for Smith-less DAL.
Doncic was pretty much a guarantee though. You could roll the tape, see what he did against professional competition from a very young age. Folks been talking and hyping Luka* up for years, he wasn't unknown. I think he was much more of a surefire pick than anyone, but there is a European bias. And Ayton still has time he isn't a bust, the Ayton pick was not really a mistake, the Hawks trading Luka* was the mistake, I'd take 1 Luka* over 2 Trae Young's...sorry not sorry.
Who’s here after the clippers game winner?
Dude killin' the favorite team to win a title 🔥
@Fact Check I like The Don more
Phoenix Suns were one good draft decision away from letting Devin Booker play alongside his dad
0:15 Real Madrid in Barcelona??? It's like saying New York Knicks in Los Angeles

Most Americans don't know that Communism and Fascism are opposite philosophies. Most Americans can't find Belize on a map (same damn continent). Most Americans think the U.S. won the war of 1812 (actually, most Americans don't even know about it). Americans not knowing that Madrid isn't in Catalunya isn't surprising -- most Americans don't even know what "Catalonia" is. Most Americans are unaware that the U.S. doesn't have an "official" language (they think it's English, "cuz thas tha langwich wee talk"). If you explained Transactional Psychology to an American, most likely s/he would think it was witchcraft. Half of Americans think Jesus was a real guy (and that this ancient Jew had blue eyes and blond hair somehow) and that the bible was literal, even though less than 1% of them actually read the book. Of that 1%, I wonder how many actually understood the words that have more than four letters. The United States is at a point where the smart people who haven't fled are fleeing. How many countries would elect a president less qualified and less competent than a literal children's party clown?
Robert Bloom 👏🏿
Robert Bloom yet America has 8 of the top 10 universities in the world and has the greatest publicly available education in the world to go along with it?
@@noahfandrich1640 People attending top-10 universities tend to be statistical outliers. the vast majority of Americans don't attend these schools. You're a sneeze away from a logical fallacy.
