- Although Salt Cellars have been around for centuries, I just recently learned of them and thought making one would be fun. I made mine from some sweet air dried cherry. The results were great and it will be a useful addition to the kitchen.

Hi Jeff, I don’t normally write comments but felt I had to!
I’ve only just got into woodworking and love these little projects, I’ve been diagnosed with cancer, I’ve had 6 months of chemo and all is looking good, I’ve just had a op and have had 3 days in bed in which time I think I’ve watched 80% of your videos which are all great and have given me so much enthusiasm to get out in the shed and try some projects, I love the outtakes proves we all make mistakes! Like I say I’ve only just started woodworking and only just found your channel, keep up the great work 👍👍👍
Thank you Stuart. I'm so glad to hear things are looking good. I hope you can get to some projects soon. Let me know what you make. 👍
How are you now?
Thanks for the template. The wife likes those salt thingys. The template is also going to be used in a separate steel project.
Awesome. Send me a picture of what you make. I'd love to see it.
Great Jeff 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Great project, Jeff! It turned out great!
Hi Jeff,
Just wanted to say that your videos are awesome! I have a super small workshop and you have some really cool ideas of stuff to make :) You are the only person I have ever subscribed to on CZcams!
Never heard of it. Thanks for sharing.
I am going to make one tomorrow.
Nice work Jeff, Looks great. For future reference, you can use your drill press and a short straight piece of the allen key to manually drive the threaded insert into the wood.
That's a great idea! Thank you. I will for sure remember that. 👍
Nice project with some gorgeous wood.
Thank you.
Nice job, the salt cellar came out great.
Thanks. I need to make another one soon. I gave this one away as a gift a while back. Glad I made a template. Lol.
Really a nice build. I just might tackle that my self for a gift t my sister. She always uses salt to cook with like this. She would be really be excited with something like this. Thanks so much.
Thank you. These would make nice gifts, and would be great to batch out a few.
Bom trabalho! !
Ficou muito bom
Thanks for the great video Jeff.
Thanks Rick.
nice work
It is a very nice job. I'm going to try to recreate it, even though I do not think I'll be as polished in the center. good to be honest neither to the sides and the screw in Argentina I can not find it
That's the fun part. Take the idea and make it work for you. 👍
@@homebuiltshop as is. I am already seeing how to prepare it according to my possibilities. Thanks from Argentina
Very nice shop, it must have cost a pretty penny to put together.
Hey Jeff, where do u buy your double sided tape?
I've bought many different kinds. I think the last batch was found on Amazon.
