Great job TAUROS. 🇧🇷
Now the most important contract will be the new mult hole aircrafts.
Gripen NG F-39 E/F🇧🇷 is the best option for Fhillipin. But the Gripen C/D doing well too.
First, You Got It, Thanks for the mention my name and I support you!!!

Wow gandang balita yan😊
Why dont we patronise Arms Corp ? This is a Phil gun maker . We should encourage weapons research and development so that we Won't be relying on imports.
supporter here..pashout out boss
if the American does not want to give us Colt and Remington rifle then the Taurus can be a better substitute of the American Rifle.
Sir kung ang riple ba e semi-auto lang bawal parin sa sibilyan? O yung full-auto lang?
Hey buddy pls. stop having shout outs it does nothing it will just lengthen your video. Please stop it this people just want attention
I hope the Philippine government will buy also the chinook helicopter. I think it's good for the relief operations whenever there is a typhoon or calamities.

Hi?
how come we do not buy weapons done locally . just saw that we have a manufacturer.
I get the need for the land based missile system but the fact that our rifles aren’t upgraded and don’t have any attachments worries me
it’s sad that COLT industries, one of the original makers of the M-16/M-4 series of rifles and carbines, has closed shop. i wonder if our military has chosen the gas piston operated action instead of the gas tube operated rotating bolt since direct gas impingement produces dirt directly to the bolt area and causes added fouling and cleaning…
I prefer galil
Sir. We have the capability to manufacture our own platforms? Albeit we make a limited number.
Why do we need to outsource?
Because it’s a private company? It’s not the government who decides to make it if someone sets up then sure the government will buy but so far none have made any offers (like a domestic arms manufacturer)
@@halzan7467 but UDMC made offers year's ago with their PVAR platforms it just makes sense that we should support out own country men then outsourcing rifle which frankly we and our talented gunsmith can produce
@@recoveringincel2933 then it shows they're not talented (not in that way) because why would the government chose Taurus then because its a conscious decision they made. Or the government is ok with it because it will imported by Trust Trade which is a local weapons importer. I also think it has to do with the fact that no local weapons importer entered the bid.
No local manufacturer entered the bid and not really capable of mass producing rifles but there is no question in quality of rifles made in the country.
@@pilipinasuncovered828 Armscor po
I wonder if the Govt Arsenal has expanded their production capacity. It was reported on 2016 they can only produce 500 units per month compared to ~100K in the 70s. Seems they already passed the torch to private firms which lost to Taurus
They didn't expand at all. They only manufacture bullets as of now.
@@pilipinasuncovered828 so it does seem they indeed passed the torch to the private firms
Pashout out po hans mendoza
Why not armscor?
I have a Question , Why does Phil.Army T4 issued rifle does not have a Carrying Handle ? 😅
the military version in contract are supplied with cary handles..
this company is from Brazil taurus rifles ,one of the best in the world
Obrigado, do brasil 🇧🇷❤
Acho que exagerou um pouco, talvez seja um dos melhores custo benefício, mas melhores mesmo é pedir demais.

I want to know if it is true that the Philippines is to recieve submarines from South Korea because some youtubers says so??
depends, like SK subs are in the bid but the contract has now been awarded to DCNS for the Scorpene sub. But we are getting SK corvettes (free and purchased). I think the reason why the subs weren't picked is because Scorpene is a good attack sub and the SK subs are very defensive (in doctrine so the navy wants an attack sub I presume)
But they said in their vid that SoKor will give 5 submarine for free that why I'm confused as submarines are expensive
@@angelofigueroa1305 then stop watching that channel that is very clickbait. They did that on purpose to draw you into clicking the video so they get views. Always check the source they're getting it from, like this video is reliable because the articles are in the description of the video.
@@gg-sr6ju and don’t forget to mention that If they did then the sub would be old, or so cheap (like a midget sub)
Not true at all.
Shout out po please
I don't like the shoutout thing. Some Defense Vlog do not include that.
does the philippine not have the capability to make their own riffle?.. i heard there was philippine made riffle that is used by philippine special forces...
There is one but the rest are local private firms such as the one this video mentioned (armscor) lost in the bidding
Sa United defense corporation from Philippines nalang sana kayo bumili nka PVAR design mas reliable pa.
I wonder why philippines choose the taurus t4
Taurus looks like a Mini AR 15 😂😉
Why dont we patronise Arms Corp ? This is a Phil gun maker ?
Locally made guns not good enough?
It's actually not locally made. Armscor offered imported firearms from Israel.
@@pilipinasuncovered828 it would be a good choice too. But I'm glad you guys chose our weapons😁😁👍🏽

Because they are all shit! They keep jamming! THATS WHY!!!

Im not sure of the quality tho....

12,000 rifles wont sustain 200k+ troops
Well yes but it’s still a good start if you look at other army stockpiles they don’t have one type of gun they have many so we are modernizing just not as fadt
Edit: fast
@Erik Nelson since when? I thought they only have 140 thousand active and 130 thousand reserve?
That's just additional rifles. We have more than 60k Remington R4 as replacement for M16 and more will be ordered in the future.
It's safe to assume those 12,000+ are just additions since GA & local private firms can't meet demand
I hope our president Duterte will also buy AK12 from russia.

I wonder why Brazil makes weapons?
The start looks like an unboxing video!
Brazil has always been a major arms exporter, in addition to there being a certain demand in stores in Brazil.
Brazilian civilians buy these T4 rifles (AR15 platform) too
Taurus claims the T4 rifles are designed, engineered, and manufactured in the USA.
Oh god, another cheap import. Buy pinoy pls. Mas quality pa
Taurus is the most infamous Brazilian arms manufacturer. Their guns are known to fail, but they are the cheapest available. Most people who acquire pistols here usually go for the Taurus Beretta chambered in 9mm since it's incredibly cheap, but I wouldn't trust my life on that piece of shit. I don't know much about the T4 rifles but being from Taurus it's probably garbage... The best Brazilian arms company is the state-owned IMBEL that manufactures the modern IA2 (chambered in both 5.56 and 7.62 in both military and civilian versions). IMBEL has a history in fabricating modern versions of the 1911 but with dozens of variations (rails, barrel lengths, caliber (9mm, .40, .45, etc) and magazine capacities (from the standard 7 up to 16 in a double stack)). They also make the ultra reliable and relatively cheap FAL and PARA-FAL chambered in both NATO standard calibers in military (full auto and semi) and civilian (only semi) with multiple variations (such as attachment points), bayonets and rifle grenades. Brazil has a long and successful history of weapons manufacturing that most foreigners aren't aware. Even developing more advanced equipment such as armored vehicles (even the "deceased" Brazilian MBT Osorio), military aircraft and rockets by companies such as ENGESA, Avibras and Embraer.
