I think it's more of a confirmation (for the viewers). Because normally when you are abroad and asked about where you came from, you will answer with your home COUNTRY, now michael has answered with a city or province(??) in his country.

Michael at his very best is the best man to ever throw a dart in my opinion.
If you watch things like the almost two 9 darters in a row or that game against Michael Smith in the 2016 PL (two 10 darters in 8 legs of darts 😲) it's insane how good he can be.

Peter Wright is 51 and arguably in his best form as a player. MVG is 32 and has already won 3 world titles. When you consider that, I do think 6 to 7 titles minimum is easily achievable for MightMike

I nearly choked laughing when he said England was a big country! Try Canada mate. 76x the size of England (41x for the UK).
Maybe he meant "big" as in powerful, successful, a lot of life for its size, or maybe even population, given tiny England dwarfs the population of the entirety of Canada (56M vs about 38M). :D Not much use having lots of land if you can easily die in 85% of it. :D

Also The Netherlands is much more powerfull than England in terms of size-power ratio. England is also actually just a part of Great Britain wich is about 20 (?) times bigger than Netherlands. So the comparison would not be fair anyway.The Netherlands is a tiny country and yet has a huge list of global companies and world changing inventions. In the 17th century the Netherlands was by far the most powerful nation on earth. Wich is absolutely bizarre when you think about how small the country is. For us Dutch every other country is only bigger, not better.

@@hansolo2121 you deffo can not drive from south to north of the netherlands in 2 hours. Try something like 3 or 4 hours. From Sas van Gent (southwest Netherlands) to Eemshaven (northeast) is about a 4 hour drive. From maastricht (southeast netherlands) is just about a 3,5 hour drive

I'm a big fan of MVG but that aurora of invincibility has vanished recently. He just needs to practice more. Less video games, more doubles practice.

Doubt it. We're starting to see the new breed beat the top players, and there's another onslaught just 2-3 years away coming from Q School. I think MvG was giving the top of the estimate there in 6-7. I actually came to the comments looking for folks commending him being realistic. Luckily youTube will recommend this video to me in about a decade and I'll stumble across this comment and either post "See, told ya." or... "Well, this didn't age well!"
