I was 14 years old when that movie came out. Had to drive from one sold out theater to another across the city to watch it, only to be late and sitting in the front row of a crowded and excited auditorium. Still a pretty epic experience! Films were still projected on 35mm film : )

So weird to see more vids from you that come from when I was a kid from like 2008-2010. I never saw Dark Knight in theaters but we did see Hellboy 2. Honestly wish we saw Dark Knight instead, but as an 11 year old Spidey diehard, I doubt I would've appreciated it for the masterpiece it is. Also Avatar The Last Airbender ended that summer and I never thought it'd still be thriving now!

I was at the movies constantly in those days. Deeply deeply miss the variety of movies that used to come out every week. I wish studios would realize that some of us do still want to see smaller movies in a theatre, at least give us the option!
Also oh MAN I wish I'd seen Tropic Thunder in theatre, I only saw it on DVD and I just know the trailers at the beginning would have been even more hilarious in a packed theatre.

I remember my dad and uncle took to our local theater to watch the dark knight, This was the first time I saw a long line of people waiting to get their tickets are to get in. Sadly when we got closer there was a sign that said it was sold out, so instead we decided to watch HellBoy 2, and I still had a good time. That day has always made me make sure to get a ticket in advanced when a anticipated film is coming so it I never miss out. Still kind of wish to have watched that The Dark Knight in theater with a packed audience.

Now that I recall, there were a lot of good movies that came out in cinemas that year, I went almost every week to see something! Nowadays, I'd be hardpressed to find 3 or 4 movies worth seeing at the cinema in a whole year.
