I never went to a midnight release for the PS3 but I remember my dad taking me to the hardware store and asking me "Should we go home or go to Toys R Us and buy a PS3?" obvioulsly picked the PS3 and we got Motor Storm , Ridge Racer and Dark Kingdom. spent the whole day playing the games with my dad. hopefully someday I get too give that same expereince to my future son/daughter

I've always been a little late on PlayStations. PlayStation (1994) never got one, PlayStation 2 (2000) I bought used in 2006, PlayStation 3 (2006) I bought the Slim in 2009, PlayStation 4 (2013) I bought in 2016, and now PlayStation 5 (2020) isn't going to arrive on my steps until early January 2021.
