I think the reason they changed the voices as well while Krilling and Gohan not realizing it was to make sure the audience knows what is up, but the characters in the serie do not, which makes it even more creepier and confusing.

As they seem to have some ethics code (since namekian aren't heartless we do not include some evil ones) since even the namekian dragon balls couldn't bring goku back unless he agreed. So it is very probable that the body swap couldn't happen unless captain ginyu and goku both agreed to change bodies.

I'd argue the way he styles his hair would make up for any weird head shapes he'd get from Ginyu's body, so really he'd be mostly the same, just that he would have purple skin and probably start growing horns when he hits puberty, which would make Gotenks look pretty cool I think.

Worst case scenario they could have just wished for Goku's original body back if it came to it.
First is better, you can feel Goku struggle to get the words out and just barely convince them, second he just says it easily despite his injury and instantly convinces them.
Fun fact the body goku is currently in isn't ginyu's actual body either ginyu has been body hopping since his childhood he has been switching to stronger and stronger bodies but nothing can beat the plot armour of a main character

So real question I wonder is how strong would Goku be able to get with Ginyu's body assuming Ginyu's body is not his original and he tends to just switch body with stronger opponents. We can assume the race of Ginyu's body was inherently extremely powerful since he was surprised how weak Gokus body was. Now not saying he would surpass super Saiyan potential, but think with training Ginyu body goku may have actually been very powerful.
