I have the OLED I7 XPS Plus and yes, the battery life is around 6 hours (5 to 6 hours). I picked up the Dell battery brick for it when I travel to double the time i can use it. I have the white XPS Plus, i kind of wish i had a docker model. there are times in decent light conditions where its hard to see the keys with the white backlight on the white keys. And the haptic track pad does make it a pain to find left - middle-right mouse clicks though thats more of an annoyance than an issue. I am still happy with the 9320. I bought mine with the 512gb storage and replaced it with a SAMSUNG 980 1tb disk. It was cheaper going that route than paying Dell for the upgrade to 1tb. At the time I got the unit on release the Dell Software tool did not support the Windows 11 on the 9320 so I had to use other software to clone the installed m2 to the new m2 drive i purchased.
Also note, a month ago Dell recalled the OLED model units and swapped them out with replacements because there was an issue with the glue coming apart on the screens. I just got my replacement system.

The problem with only having two USB-C ports on this is an illusion. When plugged in you really only have one port available and nothing else. The cameras on these are mediocre. The 9315 model with the nonremovable ssd is a nonstarter. If I were to purchase I would look at the 14 in HP Spectre especially when it is on sale as it is a much better unit for the money. If I had to purchase the Dell unit I would purchase the previous year's model. Great comparison video.

Absolutely killer design, but two MAIN deal-breakers for me: Battery (which used to be the upside for these models) and the laptop being a finger-print magnet which nulls the design aesthetics as you'd always have to be wiping off the smudges. Also, it got hot after a while. These are reasons I sold it off after couple of months of use.

But failure is a different problem. If it fails, can it be replaced without paying a whopping amount for the replacement?

Was looking at a new Mac but too expensive for what you get and upgrades even more so. Yes, speakers, display, keyboard all surprisingly good, especially compared to my old Dell 9570. Ports not really a big concern for me. Could not be happier and I am not an easy one to please. Dell hit this one out of the park. Excellent value for the price.

    • @cameronbosch1213
      @cameronbosch1213 Před rokem

@@martinpleyer2292 Do not buy the 9315. It has poor performance for basic tasks (it can't hold a candle even to the M1 as the 12th Gen U-series CPU is crippled to 9 watts), battery life is only decent because of that, the keyboard and trackpad are good, but not amazing, the port situation is worse than even a MacBook Air, and the soldered SSD basically guarantees you'll have a piece of e-waste in 3 - 6 years when the SSD wears out (which is just the nature of SSDs).

The fan runs sometimes when playing games or if it is updating but don't see it as a problem. It doesn't have an audio jack but Dell includes dongles for that and for USB-A. I find the battery life just average but willing to live with that as happy with everything else. Everyone has their own needs. Personally I wish Dell would remove the track pad to lower the cost. Most would use a Bluetooth logitech mouse to be practical anyway. Also better to move all ports to the rear.

Dell XPS 6320 is a disaster. Ultra warm. Slow- 26 second start. Super slow. I am talking about the top specification dell XPS 6320. I7 32G ram 4k. The battery is ridiculous. There is also a problem with latency. Thermal throttling all the time . Waste of money !

I think you are the only one with the Dell XPS 6320. Congratulations!

I followed your channel before buying. That all looked very good. The reality is completely different. Thank You

The Dell xps 13 plus is such a terrible laptop! The constant overheating issues will slow down the computer, Fans will run non-stop like a jet engine, Part of the haptic trackpad will stop working, Battery life is 2-5 hours depending on usage! I highly do not recommend this xps 13 plus model. The regular xps 13 is so much better! The Lenovo yoga 9i & 7i is so much better than the xps 13 plus by a lot!

I have AirPods and a usb c monitor
Has all the ports I need 😂

@@ulzs7683 Windows sucks with Bluetooth earbuds.
And a monitor and the charger plugged in means you are now out of ports. Bravo Dell, you ruined a pretty good laptop and turned it into two worse laptops! 👏

      Completely agree with this
      9310 didn’t need a replacement
      Just some improvements
Honestly Razer Book 13 got the essence of this type of device right. But it’s just Razer 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@ulzs7683 Yeah, the Razer Book was great, but it never got CPU updates.
And the 9300/9310 design was honestly near perfect. Maybe with an extra USB-C port alongside the other two Thunderbolt 4 ports and the microSD card slot and 3.5 mm jack, it would have been perfect. Not anymore.

@@cameronbosch1213why this is even an issue? modern usb monitors support power delivery, they also have usb a hubs. in fact you can connect your laptop to a monitor and charge your laptop at the same time while using usb drive, all this with just a single usb c port. almost forgot, you can also connect your headphones to the monitor :)
