    So, your clip was the first I found to be simple, straightforward, WELL LIT and understandable. Thank you for this quality video. This gave me the confidence to tackle the front suspension at 6 PM before going to work the next day. :)

      I was thinking the exact same thing. A lot of the IS200/IS300 coilover install videos on here are disappointing. Missed steps, bad lighting, going off topic and most of the time nausiating (badly framed) camera movements.

    Just as a heads up for anybody doing the install, there is no need to disconnect the swaybar. It may be helpful when trying to get the bottom of the strut to line back up on the installation, but I feel it was just as easy doing it without it being disconnected. Mine were rusted out and couldn't get an alan key in it anyway

      @trozz7660 Před 5 lety

      Mine was keeping the bottom 17mm pin on the strut from going in until I disengaged it. I didn't want to disconnect it either but when I did it was way easier.

    Damn I didn't not do anything like that when installing my coils. Granted this is the correct way to install. However I installed them without taking any arms off or sway bar
    Just rattled alot of stuff and stuck a break bar against the arm to help lower it...

    I have a question for anyone that runs coils on a daily... how long do they usually last for you guys? I’m in Chicagoland area and the winters are brutal with road salt. Is it possible to drive on these 20k miles/year, all year round, with no garage, and not need rebuild or replacement?

    i’ve been having trouble installing mine bc one of the bolts that connects the bottom of the coil to the arm doesn’t want to come off, i’ve tried putting wd40 on it, several good different impacts & it has broke 3 of my tools as well, any tips? that’s the only thing that’s preventing me from installing them

    Do these coilovers for the is300 come with no camber adjustments??

    Do the struts come adjusted already for the height

    • @BCRacingNorthAmerica
      @BCRacingNorthAmerica  Před 5 lety +4

      They come preset with a "out of the box" ride height. You can then further adjust the ride height before or after installation.
