    How do you know the difference between the two black wires coming from the breaker and the heater?

      Wire from breaker panel is hot all the time. You may need to identify with multi-tester with breaker on, or look at thermostat to see if there are line and load terminals. Line terminal is from breaker and load terminal goes to heater.

    Here is one for you my thermostats dial is turning starting at 35 and turns from 35-0 the opposite way its supposed to

      No, some dial thermostats use right-hand threads, and some use left-hand. There is nothing inherently wrong with either design....
